Does it work with FilaToon or one need to render in iray?

Hi there! It's entierly a FilaToon product, I don't believe I've actually tried it in iray

Great. Hopefully he does not have the problems with the eyes in different poses

    like I had with https://www.daz3d.com/cnsrd-toon-for-mira-9

I imagine he wouldn't, what with him using the ordinary genesis 9 eye mesh

Your products also work with Willia, which was a deliberate test, too.  Because she has unique eyes, even among the recent anime products.  You'd have to load her first, then apply the skin.  If you load Lucas/Mira's toon model, then remove Lucas, and add Willow, the issue because with the eyes. An easy fix-delete them, then reload the toon socket and iris.  For my test I just loaded the Lucas skin on her.  It works!

I enjoy seeing  everyone's creativeity, it's very refreshing! I'm not usually someone who thinks too far out of the box, typically struggling to envision using things beyond their origincal intension, so I'm happy to hear people are able to use it for such different things! I believe I used the toon eyes for Mira, so I wonder if it would be easier to load her, then change the skin and shape out?

This guy looks fantastic! I picked up the female and really enjoy her, so I'm happy to see a male in this style and look forward to picking him up when I get paid. I don't have time to read the whole thread right now, so this might have been asked already, but do you have any plans for hair shader presets and environmental shader presets in this style? I'd love to see hair, brick, wood, fabric, etc, with this painterly style.

This is something i've very much concidered, even before starting this project, Hair-wise I would have to make my own hair, unfourtuntatly I don't know how well hair shaders would translate, what with the style being very much based around existing shapes. And each hair is different. But in terms of shaders I've defintily considered it. Whether I have the skill to pull it off is another matter aha

Oh, cool. Please keep us posted if it's something you end up working on. :) I think having matching shader presets in a style similar to this would be great!

@Artini That's a fun looking character! It's great to know that the skin looks decent on other figures as well. Thank you for sharing the renders!

Oh wow! Again, I live seeing how creative everyone is with what they do with these skins, I never would have thought of something like this.

    I am LOVING this product.

After getting the skin for Mira 9 i was truly hoping in a male version and my wish has been granted.

Yes the skin works on any G9 character, on G9 base too if one wants to fully customise the figure and even on Filatoon Anime ( except eyes and mouth that have different geometries)

Here a fully customised G9 ( my own OC) sporting the Toon for Lucas 9 skin, modified in photoshop to fit my character style.

The flexibility of this product is amazing.

Hope to see more of ya'll works too. ^_^

because I'm planning on a sort of "skin builder" product that could potentialy include all the sorts of things one might want to make their own unique look.

An awesome product! Picked up both the Mira and Lucas sets. I'm a big fan of Fortiche's style from Arcane too, and hoping to see more! (Count me as an insta buyer for a character reminiscent of Mel if you make one)

When I released the skin I remember thinking "I wonder if anyone will go in and edit it themselves, I'd be interested to see how that goes." So I'm glad you managed to make it work for you! It's always a pleasure to see!

    That would be the dream!

I'm hopeful that I can work to create a whole diverse range essentially, with as many different ethnicities as possible, Mel is right up there of course. So long as I can still afford to, I aim to aha

Hey guys! I'm sorry if it's not the place to ask this, I'm super new to DAZ, basically doing my baby steps. I've tried using this skin on a Gen9 model and all was well but at some point (I don't know when bc without this reference plane tha bisecting the character it was hard to notice) part of the chest just disappeared? I've tried different skintones and all have this same result, tried closing and opening DAZ again. If I check "textured view" the model is whole but in Filament and Iray it's this.

I've tried having another Gen9 model and applying it again it worked just fine then but I don't want to start over whenI've done so much work with shaping already crying any ideas how this can be fixed? If this was not the right place to ask I'm so sorry, please tell me the apropriate place then!

The Left Pectoral bone has been made invisible - if you seelct iit iin the Scene pane (it's a child of the Spine 3 bone) and click the eye icon next to it, or use the Visible button in the Parameters pane, it will come back.
