Walk Designer for other generations

I know DAZ wants us using Genesis 9 but I just want to chime in and say that if Genesis 2 support was added to walk designer, I would buy that in a heartbeat.

    New products for Genesis 8 are getting pretty thin on the ground these days; I'd say the likelihood of a new product catering to Genesis 2 is very close to zero.

    It's a matter of what PAs choose to make, not what Daz wants (except for commissions, I suppose) - though they might be slower to accept a product for a very old figure unless they could be persuaded there was sufficient demand (numerically - a few people really, really wanting it probably wouldn't warrant the resources).

    New support for G8 at DAZ is pretty thin on the ground.

    DAZ is not the only shop.

    Just now, the front page of DAZ Studio products at Renderosity had 46 products that catered for G8 (some with G9 too, one with V4 too) and only 6 G9 only products. G8 is only dead at DAZ. However, have to agree that G2 seems pretty close to dormant, same as V3.

    I mean, worse comes to worst, I could make a walk in walk designer and then try to convert it to genesis 2, in my case, but Genesis 8 is still a popular figure and from my perspective if, walk designer was implemented for Genesis 8 or Genesis 3, it's relatively easier to convert to genesis 2 the closer the generation is that I'm converting from.
