I used to have a 27 gallon hex-shaped tank, and a 45 gallon long tank (same base as a 55 gallon, but shorter). Tanks come in all kinds of sizes.

I had a fish tank once. I don't know how big it was.

I had three fancy goldfish. Their names were Curly, Larry and Moe.

I couldn't really tell them apart. It didn't seem necessary.

They were much quieter than my parakeets I had then. Fred and Ethel.

    Yes, really.  Good times.

...wonderful names for the parakeets. Ralph and Alice would have been a good choice given how noisy they were .

As to the goldfish, if one of them used its fins to poke one of the others in the eyes, that one would be Moe.

I want some fish fry.  The white little gumbos the fish fry I want.

I assume I have to get a molly to get a bunch of fish fry.  The molly doesn't have to be orange.

I ordered some items from Claire's and accidentally sent it to my mum.  I hope she likes the earrings.

I imagine when one of them saw something outrageous, she would run off, yelling "Fred, Fred Fred Fred Fred!"

    How do I fall asleep?

    How to fall asleep

Step 1: Sleep on the edge of the bed.

Step 2: Roll off the edge.

I think elevator music is better than saying "I will contect you with a customer service agent who will assist with your delivery order" over and over.  I'm trying to see if my Walmart delivery order will be early or on time.

my TV SPOKE to me today

    for the first time

it asked what I wanted to watch with a very robotic female voice

I often use the voice search because it has a microphone but this is the first time it's spoken to me

my iPad often does, Siri gets quite offended at my replies devil

There some in my neighborhood who keep barking at random times.  They sound like a bunch of dogs barking at the same time because other dogs are barking too.  I think they all want to join the barking fun.

Actually, I rather have barking dogs that several hard rock bands practicing in their garages or similar areas.

..for myself even a garage rock band would be preferable to those cars with the five thousand watt subwoofers that you feel more than hear.

Thankfully Portland is in Oregon, on earth, and not Arrakis otherwise we'd have almost constant wormsign.

In our old neighborhood I once heard some of the loudest bass I had ever heard outside of concert halls. I thought it was coming from a car. It turned out it was coming from a motorized wheelchair.

In Washington, DC during the 90's I was once waiting at a stoplight near the west end of Constitution avenue.  It was a beautiful spring day, the cherry blossoms were in bloom, the Mall was full of tourists, my windows were down, I was happy.  And then one of those mobile earthquakes pulled up beside me, blasting some sort of semi-rhythmic noise into the area.  Not to be undone, I turned up my radio which was currently playing some loud & heavy classical finale of Wagner or Rachmaninoff to drown out the heavy audio surf from his car.  He noticed and took it as a contest.  I lost.frown

....a healthy dose of Bach's organ Fantasia in G minor turned up to "11" might have done the trick

If that didn't do the trick, the middle of Messiaen's Apparition de l'église éternelle performed on the grand organ at Notre Dame in Paris

I think pizza delivery is so stupidly expensive!  I rather get a ready to cook pizza and cook it with my awesome pizza pan.  It isn't cool, because it gets hot.

So I was in the Eat Your Big Potato Complaint Thread and thinking to myself, if they ever tried to make new episodes of the TV series "My So Called Life" then they would have to get all new people to play the characters. Maybe it would be better to just remake every existing episode with the new people. Or maybe just make the new episodes and act like anybody who thinks the people are different is just crazy.

now I am deeply offending friends of friends on Facebook for laughing at terrible home improvements with fake sob stories added for "likes" and they double down if you show the original saying it's the thought that counts

Yeah, here too.  High 80s(F) for the next week at least. I've been trying to avoid using my dying A/C.  I'm OK sitting still, nearly naked, with fans and windows open until about noon when the temperature in my livingroom rises to 84+.  I wash the accumulated sweat & skin oils off a couple times a day.  Around here, the nights get cool (60s) but lately it's only been getting down to the mid-70s, which wouldn't be bad if the humidity was under 70%.  So, about 8:00PM I go up and turn on the A/C to bring the bedroom down from 90 to 75 (A/C won't blow any colder) so I can be semi-comfortable by 11:00 when I turn off the A/C and go to bed.  If I leave the windows open during the night, the room stays cool.  But the humidity is still a killer, so I have a fan blowing on me all night.

Yeah, I have a new A/C unit sitting in a box in my kitchen, a nice 12,000 BTU window unit that might make it into the bedroom window sometime this year, but now it's almost past hot season here so it may wait until next June.

I've been trying to get to WalMart again for several months.  A few minutes ago a friend called and said she's going uptown to the WalMart area today.  So, Wheee... a mini-adventure!yes
