Her face definitely resembles Death 9. I think she's worth it because her texture, while similar to Victoria, is very good quality and has several options for freckles. The centaur stuff is another story altogether.
Thank you for pointing out her no freckles option. I wondered why my opinion of her skin went from favourable to 'no thank you' while going through the promos, but I wasn't paying enough attention to realise that my first opinion was based on the promo above.
Thanks @sid for the benchmark promos and for your consistency.
I was able to use cervitaur with other bases, so shouldn't be a problem.
(I'll post an example when I get a chance)
You can use her Cervitaur humanoid form without having Centaur 9.
And a reminder because it hasn't come up yet, but her Premier only form, Louise, still isn't out yet.
How does that work again? Do we check just check in DIM to see if it's available?
No, you need to install premier-only content via Connect
Thanks for the reminder!
I've yet to use me Jun Premier Character coupon on Sunday, which toon horse is reduced price? The anime toon horse or the toon horse toon horse? Or I guess using the coupon will negate the discount.
Here is Freja Cervitaur (with extra fur density/randomness because that's how I like it, and with a few minor edits because having a navel bugged me)
I loaded Lauryn Cervitaur, got a bunch of bug warnings. I had to turn the Lauryn cervitaur body morph (or something like that) to 0% so it stopped trying to adjust presumably some Lauryn element, then applied Freja. (And then made a navel-less map and turned Navel HD to 0)
The fur looks really nice there, Oso3D. I wish there was an option to have it taper off up the human torseo or finish in more of a V shape, rather than that hard horizontial border .
Thanks for all the work, the Freja version looks great. The bugs/warnings sound annoying though. I'm going to hold off on getting Cervitaur for a while.
I misspoke, to be honest... it's not a bug so much as using a preset that uses another figure.
I could also have simply started with centaur and applied deer stuff (shape, material, fur), I just figured this would be faster.
Ah, now I get it.
OK, thanks. I already bought that one.
annnnd i just spent money on that... i thought it wasn't a bug....
can i get the money back and use the coupon? or is the sale "final"?
Before you can't stop glorifying this figure: I have loaded her with anatomical attachments. In the Preview-Mode it looks fine, but if you render it a frame between the both textures appear. If they will not delete my attachment because it's to 'sexy', you can see it or reproduce it on your own computer.
I see what you're refering to in your render, but I dont' have that issue in any of mine with this character. I have had similar issues before with other characters, and it's always been an error on my part. It looks as though there's a difference between the skin mat of the body and that of the gens. Are you sure you've loaded the same translucency and other qualities?
I had posted that I didn't have the problem you're referring to, NudeFan, but now that I've made another render in clearer light, I too see the same result between the gens and the rest of the body.
The problem doesn't appear when I use other gen assets.
I see the disparity too when I tested it. Hopefully there's an update soon to fix that.
Which tool is active? If it is one of the content creation tools, try switching back to a posing tool - things lke Geometry Sculptor turn off GeoGrafting, so the parts that should be hidden by applying the graft remain visible.
Richard, I'm using the Node Selection tool. I've tried reapplying the textures, but I'm getting the same result.
Should we file a ticket for this?
Has the Louise shape for Lauryn been released? I haven't been able to find it. At first I thought I wouldn't use the Premier only characters, but they are part of what we're paying for. I really like Jill for Julian so I thought I would check out Louise for Lauryn.
I already created a ticket for this, but when I think about, how long it takes until they react ...
Unknown how long it could take as they notify whomever worked on the model.
My guess is they would react to this pretty quickly as it's a nrew DAZ Original character.
I hope so, too. Sometimes the issues with other products go unaddressed for a very long time. But with a new Daz Original the should be sooner rather than later.
Her Premier only version, Louise, still isn't available yet. That's disappointing.
The problem arises from colours not being 100% exact the same across the surfaces for the Transmitted Color Iray property.
You can check it like this:
How to fix:
In my case a render in IRAY no longer had the seams.
You can also check with the legs! Between Legs and Body surfaces there was no seam in the render.
When you check both Transmitted Color Iray properties by selecting the Body and Leg surfaces simultaneopusly it shows 0.95,0.20,0.10 from the beginning and not <?> like in the case when the anatomical elements are selected.
Edit:
After the change I got a seam between body and leg. So just to be sure select all the surfaces with seams between each other and modify all of them as described above.
So from Anatomical Elements: Genitalia
From the rest of the figure: Arms, Body, Head and Legs
Edit 2:
Fixed keyboard key namings
Markusmatern, thank you for these detailed instructions!
One quick question, what is the "STRG" key?
