URGENT! Make Gift Cards STOP!!! (SOLVED)

OMGosh, what the heck? I ordered a few Gift Cards and at the moment, by computer is dinging away, and I am up to about TWENTY GIFT CARDS, the few I checked for me are invalid codes!!!!  (I don't want to test the contest ones)  I only ordered a few to cover my contest, and two for me, and at 3:22am there was a CloudFare "webpage not available" when I checked out, then Paypal showed the order went through, then my computer started pinging away. It's tripled what I bought (or more)  For example, if I had ONE $30 one, now I have three- but ALL say invalid code. Can someone get ahold of the webteam STAT?!!!!

The gift cards were discounting in the cart but not a buy 1 get two free lol. But even my one that I paid for doesn't work.

    You have a virus? Or maybe some other malware? Nothing on Daz's website can buy any products for you, and others are not reporting the same issue; which makes it more likely there is something wrong with your setup. I'd certainly be either checking for malware (or in my case where I keep a disk image I can use to restore windows) reinstalling windows.

    First I would reboot.

    I sent a message to Sales Support, and the pings have stopped coming in, so I'll let them handle it. I was concerned I would have hundreds of fabricated gift certificates clogging up my email, going nonstop. This is nuts!

    You're not being charged, though?  Did you put in a ticket?  Did you close your browser and check your account after restarting it?

    On the last 4 separate occasions when I have either purchased a gift card myself, or someone purchased it for me and had it sent to my email (rather than just giving me the code) I have received double email gift card notifications, and in one case, three times for the one purchase. All the codes are different - so it's not just a case of receiving two emails for the same thing with the same codes. Only one of the codes is valid for each purchase, you just gotta try both to figure out which one works. 

    I was starting to think this is how gift card purchases worked, because it's happened every single time.

    My problem is that many of them are for my contest (see signature) and I didn't want to test them and "cash them in." I did anyway, though, and will figure something out. I had bought some with the 10% off and didn't get duplicates. But at last count, it was TWENTY SEVEN CODES for 7 gift cards.

    No, the charge went through, then you know how it can spin in Paypal but it did process? Well, I didn't even get that, I got a cloudfare error (which I kept that page open, had a foreboding of "uh oh" as it happened during checkout) so I sent that to Support. I think that's what made everything go whacky. The charge went through and no problem with the billing. But wow. Ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping...ping  of my emails saying "You've Received A Gift Certificate From..." twenty seven times..it was still going when I posted and I had a nightmare of that continuing until 8am if anyone was coming in! 

    I tested each one and sent the list to Support to help them out, of which ones worked and which ones didn't.  I'm putting "Solved." in the title.

    And Nicstt- meaning this kindly, as an FYI, as I know you were trying to help-  there have been many times I have found issues that haven't been reported, at 6pm at night that have been that way all day (!)  and weren't reported. (Links to products that don't work, banner misinformation, you name it.) I wouldn't attribute problems to the user because it hasn't been reported.  I think it's because the Search function can be so whacky, people assume something has been reported and they aren't finding the thread- and the forum is huge. (Google is your friend sometimes.) But thank you for the suggestion!

    LOL case in point- it's been four and a half hours and there is no Artist for the Reception Area product. Has that been mentioned anywhere?

    Use button "Check status and balance" instead of "Redeem gift card" and it will tell you if your code is valid and how much it is good for without making them unusable for your contest.

    It's been reported, yes - it seems to be a brand new PA (judging by the readme) and it may be that they haven't yet been added to the list, so the store isn't finding an active profile to link to.

    I've just purchased a Gift Card but got 2 codes - neither of wich works!

    Sent in a ticket.

    Is that "check" button working for you? It's never worked for me. It just does nothing, as if the mouse click was never detected.

    Yes, it always worked for me and I just did a test with an older gc code which gave me "Wrong or expired Gift Card Code." then. Buttons not working might be a browser problem, I use Firefox if that matters.

    Btw. if "Check status and balance" for gift cards on your account page does not work for you, there's another one on shopping cart page you could try.
