Foliage Maker doesn't always work.

I've purchased AM Foliage Maker ages ago,but didn't get around to using it until recently. I've asked this same question on forums all over the place, but have received zero feedback. The problem is, it's hit and miss. On some structures and characters it works, no problem. While on other structures it doesn't work at all; despite the fact that I follow the tutorial to the letter. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Not ideal, but there is quite a lot of discussion in the Beta thread HERE - unfortunately if is spread over 12 pages, but if you have time it might be worth a look.
