Well, it's two more hours for the most epic sale fail to enter it's final phase.
Not sure what was worse, the description or the execution.
So please DAZ...
- if you want to do a 2-days-promotion, simply tell us
- if you want to change the offerings every 12 hours, simply tell us
- if you really want to do such a sale, simply test it upfront
- if you want to refresh home or promo pages more often then please make sure that is is working. desktop chrom still shows phase 3 to me. and no, I don't have such a problem with any other site or store.
Apart from that I still don't get it why purchasing early was best. Maybe since we have reached legacy after current and recent for the discounted items. Wondering what will come after legacy then.
The page refresh could easily be solved by using.... different pages for different phases. Silly, I know.

No idea if it's been brought up previously, but there's an issue with Daz+ Vouchers and the Outlet. I bought a bunch of stuff last week, and after adding it all to the cart, tried to apply the Daz $6 off voucher from my Daz+ membership. It rejected the voucher, and after reading further about the offer, I discovered it's not usable for Outlet stuff. So I went ahead anyway and purchased without the voucher, but it sucked-up the voucher anyway since it's no longer available on my account.
I reported it last week, could be a bug, but haven't a had a response yet, so please be careful if you have only Outlet stuff in your cart.
I think it was this morning that a hard refresh (Shift+F5) worked for me to get the Phase 2 correctly displayed. But now I'm also in the same situation as XiousDs. I'm stuck in phase 2.
@COMIXIANT if you haven't opened a Sales Support ticket do so. Losing your coupon due to only invalid items shouldn't happen.
@XiousDs the $6 off $18 & $10 off $25 coupons do work for non-New Daz+ items (unless that was changed in the last month). I've used those with carts that have nothing but Daz+ items.

They were all Daz Originals on offer from the Outlet, but you cannot use the $6 Off Daz Originals voucher against the Outlet stuff. So it refused to accept the voucher, did not apply the discount, but after placing the order it had used-up the voucher regardless. Like I said I think it's a bug, because I tried to apply it since they were all Daz Originals, but I wasn't aware I coudn't use it.

I reported it last week but haven't heard back yet, so I'm still no wiser as to what the problem is, but best be careful not to try applying that voucher.
Yeah, hard refresh and even switching to a different browser haven't helped. I assume that for whatever reason the phase 1 picture simply isn't there. Possibly the DAZ web team have just given up on this particularly doomed sale.
Has Daz changed the time of Changeover? I had Ultrascatter2 appea yesterday, and it's first in the queue today, 7am UK. I'd jst like to know whagt to expect.
Letting us know what to expect is not Daz's forte.

Daz is experimenting with a 10 am MST store launch for the time being.
OK, so 5pm in UK. I'm surprised given the changes to sales that this wasn't more obvious. To customers.
Thanks for letting us know! If it helps with managing store glitches and such it's probably a very good idea. Will take some getting used to.
MST is strictly speaking UTC-7, but during daylight saving time, can I understand it as being updated at 10 am UTC-6 (MDT)?

You mentioned "10 am MST," so I was asking how it works during daylight saving time. Was that not your statement?
Are you saying that you’re just relaying what you heard from DAZ and can’t answer questions about it?
There isn't any unified timezone system in place at Daz with various systems each using their own timezone (accounts are one their own timezone, new sales are too, Lightning Deals had their own too), so, even Daz may not be able to answer the question before the next time various countries change their official time.
Having said that, outside of a week or two when either France or Utah had changed their official time but the other did not, sales started at the same time on my end (at 8AM), so I would expect the new system to work the same way.
In my experience there are a few weeks in spring and autumn where the DAZ store refreshes an hour earlier/later; after the we or the US catch up and the time difference is once again what it generally is.
They're in Utah, so yes probably MDT currently.

MST is equivalent to UTC-7, and when I see "10 am MST," I interpret it as 5 pm UTC.
So, given that it’s daylight saving time now, I was asking if it’s correct to assume that the DAZ STORE updates at "10 am MDT" = 4 pm UTC.
For people living in the U.S., where the time zone is directly experienced, it might be obvious that "10 am is 10 am" regardless of summer or winter. However, for those of us living in countries outside the U.S., especially in places without daylight saving time, understanding which time zone is being referred to is very important. I hope you can appreciate this perspective.
Well since there were lots of problems with sales not working recently, updating the store once there are people in the office to fix them if needed does actually make some sense.
I'm in France, so I totally understand the need to know what timezone Daz is using. My reference is that "Daz Midnight" is usually 8 AM my time except for a few weeks as we don't switch to or from DST at the same time.
Just a note for DAZ, I am in Denver also in MDT, just across the Rockies from them. I get up first thing in the morning around 3:30am MDT or MST and I check my emails, then DAZ store, then the forums. After that I make up my mind for my purchases. After that I move on with my day. Yesterday after no new products, I didn't see anything to buy and went back to work on updating old 3DL items to Iray. It was late in the day I had time to glance at my emails and saw the drop of items, including one I had been waiting for, the new UltraScatter. It sits in my cart. I ignore email/text message during the day. I work. When I come up for air, I am not in the mood for shopping and throwing away money I might need for life. Thanks for helping me cure my DAZ habit.
