certain hair crashes DAZ 2025 Alpha

This hair is exactly the style I want. I haven't been able to find any other hair in the same style.

dForce Zuri Hair for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D

But whenver Iray tries to render it in the 2025 Alpha (I'm on a 5000 series card) it just crashes. Log file is attached.

  • Why is it crashing?
  • Is it due to being stuck on the alpha?
  • Is there something I can modify, even in a hex editor, to make it work?

    Do you have a full crash rport or does it just drop straight to desktop?

    It gives me a "DAZ has encountered a fatal error and must close". Here's the ZIP file I'm able to save..

    I haven't spent a lot of time with the alpha, but attempting to render strand-based hair immediately crashes the program every time I've tried it.

    Make sure you are using the latest update, the change lof shows a fix for this.

    Thank you. Unfortuantely, as often seems the case, it hasn't included thge log so I am not sure which version you are using - 6.25..2025.13207 is the current buiild (Help>About Daz Studio) Edit: though Zuri hair does error out, without crashing, for me.

    I would assume a hair setting or something about the actual curve data, but I don't know which/what.
