This is already the most confusing sale in a while...

This Epic sale...I'm reading all of this and keep thinking...whut

What are the phases? Are these for future Epic sales?...for the next four days or something?

So if you buy a new Epic item with an older item from one of the PA stores listed, you get an extra 30% off the new item, then 80% off up to 3 items from one of those PAs...but is the 80% off the items in the cart with the new item or is it for additional older items? And does "owning" a new Epic item mean you need to buy it separately and *then* add items from the PAs listed to get the 70% or 80%? Should you just put every old item you want in with a new one to get the maximum savings?

Why is everything so complicated, lol.

Yeah, I really don't understand it. To the point where I can't be bothered to buy anything today.

Clap your hands twice and spin on your toes like a pretty ballerina for another 30% off new purchases. Handclap must be performed before 18th of May. Does not count for pirouettes already owned, unless stated otherwise after new handclap. Offer does not stack with items from exclusive new artists before handclaps, other than regarding items concernig this offer. Ballerina must be pretty. Items must be in the same cart, or else.

...yeah, just tried out "phase #4" and no extra discount on either the New Release or older artist store item. Maybe it isn't set up yet, with the recent glitches I've seen, I don't know.

Beginning to feel this may be a new and expensive trend, requiring purchase of a new release to get any sort of discount on other deals like the related Artist's stores.

For myself, that is a definite "no sale", particularly as most (if not all) New Releases are G9 oriented.

So ,much for "double token" Monday..

Phew, glad I'm not the only one who is struggling to work this out, thought I was being thick.

The way I'm reading this, to get the maximum savings, if you only want an EPIC release, then you buy one EPIC new release and use PHASE-SET-STUN to get 60% in the first transaction.

However, if you also want some stuff from the EPIC artists then you can also add one item from the EPIC artist items in the same transaction, and then you get an extra 30% off of the EPIC new release and 80% off of up to 3 EPIC Artist items.

That should be your first transaction.

Then in the next transaction you can get a further 5 EPIC artist items with 70% off as you now own an EPIC new release and if any of those items are in your wishlist then you get 80% off of them.

I was hoping it applied to all wish list items, but I don't think so, and the only way to find out is to buy an epic item in the first place.

For the wishlist, they have to be part of the sale, so, no, it's not all wishlist items.

That's what I figured, thanks for confirming Cris.

    Oooooooooooooooh, wishlist sale!
......................Only for items that are listed below.
............................................That were on your wishlist before today.

I don't know if this is the first of its kind, but I hope this isn't the new thing going forward. I understood that it was only for the items apart of this sale, but then yah gotta look through your wishlist to make sure its there. Yadda yadda. DAZaholics spend enough time trying to find the best deal, add ontop another ring to jump through.

Just stick with random/occasional wishlist sales, DAZ. We're more likely to support you that way.

It's not the first time that kind of wishlist sale happened.

.....tried the first one and it kicks back a "coupon Invalid" error.

This seems like such a strange concept for a sale. Why would I buy an Epic release now so that I "early unlock" the savings in future phases? I don't even know what the unlocked savings/dscounts will be in future phases. And if there is a good unlock, then I assume it will work the same as the unlock in this first phase; I can just buy an Epic release during that phase (which won't cost me anymore than it does now) and then use the unlock after that first purchase. Why I would I spend the money when I don't know what I'm unlocking (unless I specifically wanted something from these specific Artists and I thought the 80% discount on 3 items was worthwhile)? But even if that was the case, then I'd be buying because of the sale on offer now, and not anything to do with the phases BS

  • Maybe it's too early for me as well, but all I understand about this sale is:

*It's too complex &/or incompletely thought out to be of interest to me.

*It might by devised by an AI trained with only word salad.

Yes, the code (PHASE-SET-STUN) definitely doesn't work with an Epic new release in the cart.

This was a confusing sale listing to be sure, and usually I figure out daz jenga with little issue.

i think something not set correctly with pricing. I put in 1 item from the Featured Epic artist store ..it was full price. Then added the coupon - it went to 60% off.
Then added a NEW Epic Release -- the discount on the FAS went to 80%, not 70%. Down further though, above the New Releases, it states buy a new release and a featured artist store release, you get 30% off new release and 80% off FAS item. And WL items do discount 80%, but its like they have 2 different sales going on at the same time on the same products.

But wait! i didnt see the addional code for the WL items to get 80% off, so who knows, maybe it has to be multiple purchases? one for the 60% off code with no new epic release.
Then buy Epic release and get 3 @ 80% off from FAS
Then buy another EPic new release and get up to 5 at 70% off or from WL @80% using the coupon code there
    ??????????

The 80% is applied to the first three eliigible items, then any coupon will be used for additional qualifying items (it doesn't stack with the 80%).
