    In the big battle against the dark one, the bald wizard Mordakk von Friesburger used an untested spell to perform time teleportation to get future equipment and warriors to add resources to the battle. But as usual, field tests usually will not work as expected.

    Helping the Less Fortunate
    Good Fairy Alieta tried to help her less-fortunate relatives, but the most of the lovely gifts she gave them ended up in the trash, including the gorgeous Rosemoor furniture collection, except for one chair which cousin Margo seemed to enjoy.

    Pollen season

    Charlie Walker decided to surprise his best mate Ian for his birthay. He bought them tickets to go to China and see the landing of the Chinese space station Yǔzhòu Lóng (Space Dragon). The problem was, this was the peak of the pollen season, and Ian is very allergic, so he had to be kept in a pollen free encapsulated bed the whole time to survive.

    Alien Investigations

    Multi billionaire and philanthropist Lotsa Pezos had captured an alien life boat while performing one of his trips to space. He decided to make his own scientific examination of his find, all in good faith. He did not anticipate that the alien's enemy's recon bot should arrive, and even less that the alien could use his powers to freeze dangerous objects in motion. To make it worse, bottles of strange liquids from the alien's ship shattered, but Lee the helper was quick to mop it up.

    Then, old Edie, the security guard showed up, asking a lot of questions, specially about this strange fellow appearing out of nowhere, holding back the recon bot with his hand.

    The Auspicious Baby
    Maureen Ploutz, a scholar of religious mythology and mythological religion, was thrilled to find an infant in a basket in their reed-filled swimming pool. "An auspicious event", she told husband Gordon (an aquatic botanist.) "We must adopt and raise him for surely he will be a great leader." Gordon was skeptical, but not wanting the odd-looking little fellow subjected to the traumas of state foster care, agreed to raise him as their own.

    What books?

    Liz the librarian intern at the Central Library decided to deliver the third and final "delayed return" note herself, to show some good positive spirits. The address was down on level 51, in the power generator district. Larry Rokka, known as Larry the Roach, a merchant of smokable flowers, was the borrower. When her colleague heard that Liz was going there, she told her to bring some muscle, just in case.

    When they came down there and met Larry, he just replied, books, what books?

    The Dancing Quadripod

    Mari's father bought her a robot to prevent kidnappings and other unpleasantness. In order to lessen the preemptory strikes against spy drones, Mari tried to distract it by teaching it to dance with her when she practiced on the patio. The quad proved to be both graceful and lethal though, dancing and protecting simultaneously.

    Ronnie in Paradise 

    While visiting her Fishfolks friends in Aguja, kindhearted Gilda convinced them to allow exiled grifter Ronnie Ruidoso to stay on their island for a while. They reluctantly agreed, knowing he creates chaos and destruction wherever he goes. 

    Footnote: After Gilda left, Ronnie was arrested for overstaying his tourist visa and is currently being detained in "The Deep" underwater facility.

    Smoke and Mirrors
    In his never-ending quest to save humanity from itself, Wizard Winston had transported himself to a place and time where powerful energy was harnessed in boxy containers and mirrors were not friendly. While attempting to cast a spell with his staff he noticed that there were many more of him. Confused and discouraged, he caught a ride with the one in the odd little boat, hoping to land in a better place and time.

    World domination by mail

    For a few years, Walter and his cat had a good time together. However, when Walter gave the cat access to his credit card, her behavior changed dramatically. First, she had a supervillain's lair built in a cave in the garden. Then she bought a motorcycle. And today, the cat bot was delivered. Who knows what will happen next.
