Daz Studio 2025 ALPHA - version 6.25.2025.13207

Hey all! I have 2 questions please...

1.  See attached picture. Do I need all the Premier Product Updates listed for Daz Studio 2025 ALPHA - version 6.25.2025.13207??

2.  Using Daz Studio 2025 ALPHA - version 6.25.2025.13207 now. I cannot load Generation 4 characters like Michael 4, Freak 4, Victoria 4, etc.  They reside in my Poser Runtime Library. I had no issues with previous DAZ Studio versions. Wasn't there a script/program that did the transfer between the two programs?? What am I missing??

Thanks!!

    1. Only if you are a Premier member and wish to use them

    2. What happens when you try? Though this one would be better taken up in the main thead, link above.

    Ok Thanks!!  One last question...

    1.  Premier Product Updates listed in DIM - Yes I have Premier membership....if I download the above mentioned Premier Updates, will that revert DAZ Studio back to an earlier addition?

    2.  Thanks for the link!!

    1. No, if you download and instal the alpha versions of the plug-ins they will go to the application folder for the alkpha verions, leaving the others untouched. If you let the alpha version log in to your account and restart it then the plug-ins will work in that version.

You need 1 CMS for Smart content.

If you have one already you don't need this, but as it comes up, I assume you don't have one, and then you should get this.

You do not need Daz Studio 4.x unless you want the current version (and not just the 2025 Alpha).

Trying to run the Alpha version (as of May 18 2025) hangs on startup with multiple NVIDIA GPU cards (3050 and 5080).

I hope, this is the right place to report this:

When I use "Map Transfer" (most likely in all 6.x-Versions) to create a File-Set e.g. for the anatomical elements, the result shows only a coloured area within the UV-Range. First I did not modify the "Bleed factor", after I saw the problem, I increased it to 0.02, but the result is the same.

When I do the same with the latest 4.24 I have installed, the region is shown fine.

Please use something like a UV checker grid to show the issue, rather than a part of (I assume) a product texture set.

The attachment was only to show the difference between an output under 4.24 and 6.25. I don't think, that a UV Checker will demonstrate this that way.

I also don't want to make first a course with special tools just to report a problem in the Alpha-Version of a new software. The company is asking for findings, and here is one!

    One more finding:

When I have a G9 figure loaded and try to load a hair into it often the following happens:

I'm first asked, if I want no save scene (it looks like I want to load a new scene!), when I confirm or not I get the error message, that e.g. the file 'People/Genesis 9/Hair/BirthStone/Hollie Hair/Hollie Hair for Genesis 9.duf' could not be found.

Similar I observed with 'People/Genesis 9/Hair/Art Ken/dForce AK Handsome Hair/dForce AK Handsome Hair Genesis 9.duf'
