Is there any way to prevent DAZ install manager from installing anime content? I never have and never will make use of anime. I don't want to have content. I will never use on my computer. I've searched everywhere, but I cannot find an answer to this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you installing?
To my knowledge there is no way of filtering anime products.
But if it is a anime product, you can just not install it.
If the anime is part of a product, you cannot install part of a product, but you could install it and then delete the anime parts (unless you are installing with Connect).
If you're speaking about Genesis 9 Base Anime Feminine and Masculine, they are part of Genesis 9 Starter Essentials and I'm not sure you can prevent them being installed without breaking something else.
I think the Filatoon Shaders is included alongside other required files, so likewise, not sure you can do anything to remove them.
Thanks for the quick reply's and information. I'm highly skeptical that the entire user base of DAZ studio is interested in anime content. Therefore, I wonder why they force it upon us with the DAZ installment manager. I've been using DAZ Studio since it's inception. Never once have I installed any kind of animation content. But now whether I want it or not, there it is. Not a wise move on the part of DAZ management in my opinion. Free content is always welcome. However, in my opinion, you should have the choice of using it or not.
End of rant. Kind regards to felis and Eior.
While some content is strongly recommended by DIM, it's possible to prevent it. However if you want to use G9, and the default resources they have a small amount of anime/toon content. You're not "forced" to install either but it does limit the program. But one could make the same argument that installing male or female content or human figures in general is unwanted because some folks don't render pictures with them.
You might want to check the changelog for DS 2025 - it seems they have just added the ability to hide products and assets (the latter being what you would want here).
Thanks for the follow up information. I recently retired my old Intel beast Mac for a new M2 Pro Mac mini. Due to the cost of Apple's installed storage I only have a 512 GB drive. I have Installed a Qwiizlab USB C Hub with a 2 TB NVME SSD. DAZ Studio performed very well on the new M2 Mac. But when I began installing more content the DIM started assigning new paths to my content installations. I had performed a disk erase on on my SSD before using it with the new M2 Mac. Formatted in APFS. I am using the SSD exclusively for DAZ Content. I have not had any success in resolving this issue. Therefore, the question of anime content is less important for me now. I just want to be able to install any kind of content successfully at this point
I am not clear what the issue is
Issue resolved. Apparently the DIM was picking up some directory information from a previous installation of DAZ studio. I did a deep clean of my NVME and now things are in order.
