What do you prefer the most or first on your list and why...? or (add something to the list what's important for you)

- G3 Male
- Tutorials about content creation, with tools like Zbrush, Blender,... (you can possible buy in shop)
- Improvement to the main studio software (physics, dynnamics (cloth, hair)  (plugins or in main software) (possible yo need to buy?)
- Improvement to the main studio software (genesis platform plugin to more pro soft like maya, max, modo, c4d,...) (possible yo need to buy?)
- Back to Pdf manuals and leave the wiki as another alternative.
- Next gen figures G4
- Just hanging around here and mess with friends

I'm not quite sure what you're asking...what we'd like like Daz to focus on?

Improvements to the software..but not  the enhancements you mention...

Improvements like fixing the program's problem with registering a mouse up event when moving a camera so when you want to stop moving the camera, you actually stop moving a camera.

Improvements to performane so you can have more than 2 objets on the screen without it being sluggish.

I'm really hoping they fix the export to RIB functionality...

Getting rid of the weird Optical problem when you have several planes near each other.

(and a comment about tutorials for sale..the one's I've seen seem to often be by people with a lot of knoweldge of the program, and little knowledge of how to teach. )

I keep reading you say this, but I never had those issues even on laptop with a core 2 duo with 2 gigs of ram using studio 4.0 32bit. For the record I tend to only use Intel graphics cards to run Studio and even then I do not get the performance issues you speak of. I am pretty sure something is going on with your setup. If everyone else(or even a lot of people) had those issue, no one would want to use studio.

Like last night I was tinkering with this and it only got sluggish when I added the last two characters. And that could have been avoided by temporarily disabling smoothing and sub-d, but it was just a quick test so I didn't bother. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/916793/#Comment_916793

I want daz to fix the LOD function of Decimator. You can't save LOD in DUF which is a chore for me.
I want them to fix the bug with enabling limits to the figure again. This worked until recently, I think 4.7 . Waste of time manually fixing each node.

Those are my biggest pain points right now. So that is what I want addressed first.

Hmm... Okay... From your list... In the same order...

1- G3 male... Couldn't care less, nor the G3F... But I don't get that they have so big a gap between release... I know others want him now and if I was using Genesis 3 figures yet I might care... From one to ten, I'd rate it a 7

2- Tutorials... Sounds like you are asking about buying them... then no... On a scale of 1 to 10... 96.   They would probably be videos, and I hate videos... All the important 3D stuff I ever learned was from books, magazines or written tutorials. I hate that I usually have one or two things that I don't get and I have to either sit through fifteen minutes of nose picking, throat clearing, trying to follow what the cursor is pointing to or the narrator explaining one thing and glossing over another... I hate it... OR I have to keep screwing around with FF or REV till it looks like the point I'm looking for... With writing I can gloss over the stuff I know to find what I don't and save valuable time... And instantly re-read what I didn't get... And I never have to ask "Wha?... Wh... What did he just say?... Cheese muffins?" And play it over and over and still not understand... The worst thing about videos is sitting through a long one and getting to the end and saying out loud..."you taught me nothing" or "that was not what the title implied"...  I have never really paid for a tutorial, but I have watched a few that were professionally produced and have several free name brand ones that came with magazines... Out of probably twenty of those I watched I got one question answered and wanted to rip my skin off waiting for the guy to get to the point and stop jerking the cursor at key moments. So, no... Not on my list.  If someone wrote a complete DAZ Studio book, like the many Poser books, I'd buy that in the blink of an eyeball. As long as it was actually a "how to do stuff" book and not a "look what other people did with" book.

3- Improvements to the main software... Yes... Very important, I don't know what DS needs right now as I haven't had much time to play with Studio for the past few months, but Bryce, Hexagon and Carrara all need some lovin' updates... And have been needing them for ages.... Rated number 2

4- Wiki vs PDF... I probably don't have mainstream questions, but almost every time I've gone to the Wiki, it's not operational yet, coming soon or outdated... I'd prefer PDFs that I could download and read on my tablet when I'm bored or at my leisure. But I understand that a Wiki is probably a more mainstream method and probably easier to update on the fly... Either way, having up to date info and answers is most important.

    5- Genesis 4... There isn't even a G3 male yet... So no, I'll wait.

6- Just hanging around here... Yeah... From this list, that tops it... Number 1

I'm interested in G3 male. However G2 male had some flaws so I hope they won't be repeated with Gen 3. I don't want more of the 'same ol'.

    I'll bite

    - G3 Male Could care less, don't use male figures much
    - Tutorials about content creation, with tools like Zbrush, Blender,... (you can possible buy in shop) Don't care much for documentation, I am a figure out as i go guy.
    - Improvement to the main studio software (physics, dynnamics (cloth, hair)  (plugins or in main software) (possible yo need to buy?) This is ny main focus, more features to DS is what i want, soft body physics and dynamic cloth first and foremost.
    - Improvement to the main studio software (genesis platform plugin to more pro soft like maya, max, modo, c4d,...) (possible yo need to buy?) I actually am against this. As a possible vendor in this community and with piracy being so rampant, I would like to see DS content stay within DS and it's proprietory formats and rigging. I would like to see it easier to import content INTO DS with more formats and rigging. I think DAZ should focus more on using DS as a platform and less about using it's content elsewhere.
    - Back to Pdf manuals and leave the wiki as another alternative. Could care less
    - Next gen figures G4 Interested, but not for another 5 years, LOL
    - Just hanging around here and mess with friends. Most of the people I know into CGI don't use DS, they mostly work in game studios or use higher end software.

Well, I grant I was exagerating with "2 objects", but I've seen it very common in the fourm for reports as folks have bigger scenes, stuff like clicking on the camera pulldown and then waiting until the program decides to register it....the mouse up problem with the camera keep moving after you let go..the mouse letting go of moving anything...these aren't just my problems..these are the programs.

Have you tried different settings for Display Optimization in Preferences > Interface?  That sort of problem is generally a graohics card driver problem.
