Multi-arm graft?

I seem to remember seeing a "character" for G8 to graft extra arms on. Perhaps for the below character or a similar one? Basically a way to create the Green Martians from ERB's books?

    This question comes up a lot. The answer is that characters with extra arms have so many problems that they are impractical to make or use. The rigging would be very difficult. Most clothing would be unusable. Those are just for starters.

    The usual workaround is to use 2 identical  figures, one superimposed upon the other, with everything but the arms made invisible. This isn't perfect and won't look good from every angle. I imagine many outfits stil wouldn't look right.

    The only character I see currently in the store with extra 'arms' is this Genesis 9 one: https://www.daz3d.com/arrak-for-genesis-9.

    There was a four arms geograft for Genesis 1, and two characteres for it by RawArt (one was the four-armed Martians from Burroughs' novels), but they aren't in the store anymore. I don't know of any that are currently available for any Genesis figures.

    There used to be the "Four Arms for Genesis", but it has been vaulted some time ago, and there may have been a four-armed Martian Barsoomian that used to be sold here.

    The one you're referring to is for G8 from Mightnight Stories, and he does still have G2M & G2F Martians for sale here. You might want to reach out to him, Sixus1 Media, or Raw Art, to see if they ever did the like since they frequently made products related to such early scifi classics.

    I am pretty sure the four-armed martians from RawArt are what I was remembering. If I remember right they basically added extra arms to shalinaya and a male counterpart for those. Or was there a similar model for those? I know I had them in my wishlist at one time but my budget's tight and I never could afford them. But yes, thanks for letting me know they were pulled out of the store.

    Thanks for that link. I'll have to take a hard look at that. And I think I'm adult enough that a bit of nudity doesn't scare me. ;)

    That actually looks intruiging. I'm pretty sure though what I remembered was a G3 or G8 product that was somewhat similar. The doubling-up of the upper torso and shoulders is the only "realistic" way to make that work.
