Gotta say, though. Kinda disappointed with the bundle. Only 4 items in it?

Chloe had 4 items too. Seems like it's becoming one of the "standards setup" possible for new characters.
Xiao herself looks rather good, and I quite like the mix with Tara in one of the promo pics.
The rest of the items in the bundle are not really something I would see myself using. The spaceship environments look interesting.
I thought the same about the bundle.

Character bundle, meh. Got Xaio figure and the space life bundle. Two different space suits...nice.
It's been pretty clear over the last few bundles that 4 items in a bundle is the new business as usual here. (What? You thought you were going to keep getting 6 item bundles with your Prem coupons?) Also, I see that the advertised "$1 offer on the anime Inspired make up" isn't currently working, even with both of the character bundles in the cart, although the additional 20% off with purchase of the Floating Prison does seem to work... though I have to wonder how that works on the space life bundle since it's already included there.
That said, she's a nice enough character, and I do appreciate that the hair in the main bundle is acutally one that makes sense with the spacesuit.
Actually, the only one of the last 9 character bundles to have four items was Chloe. Lyna, Willow, Charlie, Elena, Lucas, Astaroth, Sylvia, and Mateo all have 5-6. Throwing in the textures from the Helixfield space suit would have been completely fine. Charing the same price for less shouldn't become the norm.

If you look closely, the base price is $94.99 for Chloe and Xiao character bundles and $99.99 for the others. Not a big difference, but still.

Good catch. Looking into the other $99.99 bundles, it does appear the six items have now been reduced to five items for the same price, however.
Another young woman, even if this time she's not completely white for once. But Xiao 9 looks boring to my taste.
Space Life - what an exciting, completely new topic...! The shrinkflated Character Bundles have become a joke with only four items. The basic figure, it's HD (which was integrated into the first 35 or so Genesis 9 core figures), a hairstyle that you've seen what feels like fifty times before and a similar outfit - that's it. I've come to appreciate Barbara Brundon's work; the lack of love and imagination is probably on Daz's side here. But perhaps you have to welcome it as progress when a halfway Asian-looking character is not laden with martial arts and other East Asian clichés.
I really hope character bundles with just 4 items is not going to be the norm. Previous bundles contained 5 or 6 items. Lyna had 5 and her bundle was just around $2 more expensive.
I guess the Xiao bundle's "fifth" item is going to be extra $1 for the makeup.
What, is she partially white?
Definitely picking her bundles up today. Even with the reduced size, the $1 makeup product makes up for it. A 5'11'' tall figure, too-is it me, or are the ladies getting taller and taller? (Both in and out of Daz) Not that it's a bad thing.

We must be due a pirate or a fairy soon... or a pirate fairy.
After seeing the photos for the Night at the Met Gala this week based on https://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/superfine-tailoring-black-style, I would love to see a Black male character with a Mal3Imagery set of fabulous outfit pieces. I was blown away with the close-ups of the pieces that were shown in the exhibit.
I don't count HD as a separate item, so we are now down to 3 items from 4.
I am not into Xiao & I have just as good or better spacesuits and hair already. So I guess I won't buy Premier again until Daz either debuts a character I love or adds some older characters I wishlisted.
I really think if you are going to do anime, the character should have a filatoon preset. I picked her up as my premiere choice, simply because I like her longer body. But would love a filatoon preset for this otherwise somewhat ordinary figure.
Too stylized for my taste. The fingers look cool in some poses, terrible in others.
Suit's not too bad. The helmet doesn't open. Makes me want to try out a Jermey Geddes inspired pic in the near future.
I was trying out the render cue that comes with premier, but I must have selected the wrong camera. There's a big version attached if you want to zoom in. The hair that comes with the basic bundle has options to move the pony tail, but no bulit in way to move the fringe bits and dforce doesn't seem to do much (I tried the geometry editor a bit here, but it wasn't helping me get the effect I wanted, i.e.gravity). Xiao on the right, pictured with HID Kyoko who came down to $2.30 with some stacking deals from the day before for wishlisted artists and tokens.
She's an intriguing character. Once again, her advertised measurements aren't accurate. Her normal form is 162.8 cm, her sporty form is 174.28 cm, and Xiu is 166 cm. Nothing some morphs can't fix, but it irks me when it isn't right. I'll do some renders of Xiu since she was just released, but here's some I did earlier.

sid mentioned that Xiao is too stylized, I do agree with that so I set out to try and "unstylize" the face and I think I went a bit overboard and completely changed her appearance. The face is still dialed in at 100% though.
I gotta say that the spacesuit is really detailed and looks great under all types of lighting.
Looks lik a different character, but she is an improvement.
