G3F clothing fits for G2F?

I should know the answer to this but the logic is escaping me at the moment. Will Genesis 3 clothing fit Genesis 2 figures automatically or do we need something like this:

Either way, will the clothing then conform to different variations of G2F such as Teen Josie or Olympia 6 or indeed any dialled-in morphs of the characters? By the way, I don't have V7 or any G3 characters but it would be nice to be able to buy some of the clothing and use it on my G2F girls.

G3F clothes won't conform automatically to G2F, you need to autofit them. The product you linked does give you the required autofit clone.
If you don't want to purchase it you can also create a clone yourself manually (there are tutorials about that on the forums) but that's quite some work if you want good results.
Once autofitted the G3F clothes will behave like any G2F clothes, so yes they'll follow the morphs.

It was initially made for conversions between G2 and G2 but there's info about G3 too.
