The genesis figures are all added as free content for Daz Studio, they may have minimum versions required (I can't ecall if that is true of 3, though) but as long as theya re installed they should have their own folder in the people folder and their own entries in the Figures category. Genesis 3 Starter Essentials if isntalling through DS itself, or separate Genesis 3 Male Starter Essentials and Genesis 3 Female Starter Essentials is installing through Install Manager.
Years ago I bought my Genesis 2 & 3 content. I think DAZ started giving that content away awhile ago.
The Genesis Starter essentials packs have always been free.

Was all the Genesis 2 and 3 content free?! Or was it just certain items that were in the Starter Packs that were free?
Starter Packs, but a lot of 2 and 3 stuff finds its way into the freebies rotation.
The attached image is a screenshot taken in August 2022.
At that time, if we purchased Genesis 3 Starter Essentials individually, it was a paid product.
Looking at the Daz Deals graph, you can see that this wasn't a temporary glitch that made it paid; it was always a paid item.
However, at that time, it was included with the free Daz Studio 4.x Pro, so as a result, it could be obtained for free.
OK, the fact is DAZ changes payment details from time to time. It's a business. I think it happens sometimes when a new generation of character is introduced.
We can get a deal on the older generation or get it as a freebie. i don't know about you, but I have a hard time keeping track.
I'm just starting to catch up with the deals offered by the Premier membership program.

To find the Genesis 3 base figures, type Starter in the search field at the top of the Smart Content tab. You should see icons for Genesis 1, 2, 3, 8, & 9.
I always use the Content Library. Genesis 3 is right there in alphabetical order with all the other generations of Genesis!
