Asian + African/black G3F (Mei Lin 7 Nicole 7 ?)

There have been several pro bundles for G3F, they were out relatively quickly. But they all are Caucasian G3F oriented.

We need really new figures to fit the Asian and afro/black morphology/type.

This will be a great addition, especially for the skin diversity and the morph possibilities.

My bet: they are scheduled soon because several pro packs have been out, kids (2 light packs) have been out, and only 2 very typed pack are really missing to complete G3F (Asian+African)

    Damn, she looks awesome.

    @boisselazon

there has also been a black skin merchant resource, as well as two characters that if not black were of mixed race or non-caucasian.

  • I know, but I was talking about base models (wich are Daz, available in pro bundles)

Why do you want to pay extra for a new UV set that seems to add nothing but a higher cost to buy?

  • It is too soon for me since the release of the gen 6 versions and I like Darius/ Monique. I probably wouldn't but them so soon. But everyone's needs are different

problem is we don't need a base figure (specifically)...and fortunately sometimes the bundles accomadate more than just the main characters ethnicity. Josie's pro bundle did a good job of this, and sometimes the men's pro bundles also. I don't need a base figure just to have brown people. In V4 days I got Morphs++ and ethnicity packs and from there just pick up skins a long the way. Was always V4, just V4. We didn't need no special figure just to tweak some features.

If you have some of the morph kits out there, you have a lot of what you would want to start changing the characters to meet your needs. Mix in a bit of some characters you like and you might have everything.

I don't need to wait for a pro pack of 3 asian girls or brown folk. I can grab one here and there, no need to wait.

There were at least 3 dark skinned characaters for G3F on this site, and the merchant resource kit. Good starting point. We had at least one Japanese gal too. As long as we get sprinkles here and there I think we will be fine.

  • I really really really hope they come out with Mei Lin next!!  She's by far my fav character (along with many of the characters based on her), and is such a go-to character for me.  As long as she looks like the G2F version... I'd pay just to get the G3F updates even if it had the same UV and looks as the G2F version.

Yeah... I got it bad... hahahaha...

that isn't how it works. They dont rerelease characters that look the same. so if they go with that name again, expect her to look different.

I agree with larsmidnatt, for 45$ a DAZ base shape is massively over priced compared to an 18.95 price point of a typical PA character consisting of a sculptured morph (ie not a dial morph) and a skin. The one advantage of a DAZ base character is that further down the road they are sometimes given away. or offered at extremely low prices. I got V6 for free, and A6 cost me less than a dollar. Pro packs sometimes contain a good mix of additional content, but are less value now than a couple of years or so ago, when each pack contained a lot more items.

that's (partially) my point: the pro bundles. While the core char is indeed expensive, the pro bundle can be a real bagain. I loved really much the mei lin pro bundle (in addition to the char itself). Thian hair is a must have. And I bought the pro bundle for just 14USD few month ago...

So, I hope that the next pro bundle will be this asian kinda girl pack.

In the meantime, you are absolutely true about the possibility to craft a girl from east and/or from african dream wink. I did last week a big mama vodoo girl with a dark skin (kelly one is awesome) and some morphs (the pack with 200 face morph covers pretty much everything)

Did I say that thian hair was wonderful?cheeky

when they are on sale, sometimes I agree. I barely get pro bundles anymore but on occasion they are much better than going a la carte. For example I had no interest in Eva, Beth or Karen's pro bundles. I only wanted 2 pieces of Beth's pro bundle. For Josie I wanted 3 or 4 things and because of the promotion it was way better to get the pro bundle and count all the extra fluff as freebies.

And yes Kelly is awesome. Very nice skin, haven't used the body though.
