The ability to create multiple panes of content library is very very useful on the latest version. Being able to rename them would be very nice addition.
I didnt notice much difference in viewport responsiveness, i've made a simple script that i can call with a hotkey to toggle the aux viewport visibility. The lagginess really seems to be tied a lot into the aux viewport.

Presumably a third-party would have the same issues, if they coul find a suitable version avaulable from the developers without restrictions like watermarks.

I meant that I cannot see or click on cube or viewport preview. they are not visible in main viewport and aux viewport as well. i downloaded updates today but the issue is still the same.

One of the problems was that more recent versions of 3DL switched to another kind of shader language, so none of the existing materials and shaders (including light shaders) would have worked with newer versions of 3DL. I don't know if they could have written an automatic converter like they did for Iray, it likely wouldn't have been simple.
So DS kept using the last version supporting RSL, which is quite old now and apparently can't work with the new code base.
Happy to see that DS 2025 is moving forward... I was about to get a new desktop but at this point I will wait for 5080 support

I mean that I am using DS 4.22 today (no iRay GPU render support for 5080 cards) so before I buy a new desktop I will wait for DAZ Studio to support the 5080 cards ( ie version DS 2025)

Correct. DS 4.xxx doesn't suppport the 5xxx GPUs, but DS 2025 Alpha (this version) does.

So I have a few problems; My Iray preview only shows the white mode version with no progress to depicting the actual shaders.
Also, HDR do not count as light, I need to make a camera with its headlamp on to not render a solid black box.
I have 3060 with 12 gb of Vram.
Have you installed the latest drivers?
Yep, Studio Driver 576.02. When headlamp is on (or there is a light object that shows its light in the viewport) it renders fine.

There is problem with map transfer in v6, it leaves very huge crease around edges of texture maps. I tried it with g9.
Still not as good as 4.24 but I feel that there was a improvement, still need to use that trick of closing both viewports tho

Does it mean that the MAP Transfer functionality is gone? I recall it only worked in 3DL

Ahh, that explains why the 3DConnexion Space Mouse isn't yet working. I tried copying the plug-in over from DS 4, but no go.....
