Read Me's - don't Exist anymore????

I went looking for the Read Me's for a few products I have long owned. I hunted the site & got to what was supposed to be Documentation Center. There was no alphabetical list of items. Only Sku, which is only good if the product is still live. I put in several SKUs. The site returned "No results". Can Daz PLEASE start putting the Read Me BACK in the Zip File?!?! Can anyone point me to the Alphabetical List of items in Read Me? The Search engine in the Forum didn't work either! I appreciate any help I can get.

If you know the SKU, try the direct link:

    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/102328/start

Some product just don't have a ReadMe though, in which case you get a "Page Not Found".

If you're using DIM, click on the exclamation point in a circle will open a browser window with the readme for that product (if such a read-me does exist of course).

Do you use DIM at all? If so, you can get to the README from there, if there is one. Some older products don't have one, and a lot of products that came from other stores don't have them either. If the product is in your product library, you can do a search for it there and get to the README from there as well. The README page has always been the way it is now with the SKU range.

If you have the metadata in DS you cana lso right-click on the product>More Information.(opens in the DS help pane, hold down cmd/ctrl to get an option to open in the system browser and whether to go to the readmen or Product Library page).

This is the best answer. Some products do not have a readme but most do. So yeah, DAZ still does ReadMe files . . . but not consistently.

It was there for me, yesterday. However, the server is down (503 Service Unavailable) right now.

I reported that in the sales errors thread and Cris said there was a planned maintenance ongoing, it should be back later.

I have reported this before and nothing changed. It is not just one index page. On a previous notice it was all pages above product sku 100,000.

In my opinion this is a BIG problem since read me files tell you a lot about the product including which morphs it has and which models are separate geometry and that can influence an informed customer's buying decision and help reduce requests for product refund.
