Not much of a difference it would be nice to see more detail kid models . Like the little rascles...
There are some similarities, I suppose, but they look like very different characters to me. I certainly wouldn't mistake one for the other.
Not completely, but close enough I didn't buy... And I usually buy new characters.
They're going to look at least somewhat similar, if only because they were done by the same artist. I can tell them apart easily, even when switching their skin textures.
I agree, if you load both into a scene one on top of the other you can see they 99.999999999% identical, the only real difference is the skin texture. Incidentally I have a g2 based figure that I used quite a bit and can have two instances of the same figure in a scene with different hair and skin and they look totally different.

^^ Almost this. I was torn, honestly. The thing that really bugged me was the lips; they seemed identical. The chin is narrower, the body is close enough to identical; a little variation in height and body type would have been really nice. Not all kids are exactly the same height/dimensions in all their limbs, etc... The texture is pretty 'meh', but 3DU does toon mainly, so it makes sense for it to be what it is. It's nice to have more clothes, and I kind of liked the hair (see: my eternal struggle to find hair that doesn't look over-permed).
I think that if you put the texture of the other on one, you would probably mistake one for the other at a glance.
In the end I did pick her up, so I guess it counts as a vote for, but I felt it was a lot less than I would have expected from 3DU.

They are vertex-for-vertex identical below the neck. There are some differences in the face.
Agree, I like his/her products, and whilst I agree with stialised characters and their similarities are inevitable; I feel insulted, as though is was done purely because of the event Daz is having. I like the clothes, and bought them; hell I'd have considered paying the price for the hair, but not in the way it was done.
But each of us makes these decissions; many like the character, and have bought it.
They look exactly the same to me, both of these girls, I don't get what's happening here. Love the pose set - but the only difference in these two girls is a Hue tint and hair style. Comfounded - why did they not just make them - this - both Skyler and Rayn - apart of the same bundle? I bought the Skyler bundle, not doing the same for the other, I'll just get the hair, clothes and poses... but no need to buy Rayn...
