House in Witches Wood | Daz 3D
I feel like a kid the day after Christmas.
I opened the environment but nothing is parented to anything so I deleted it and worked on my character. When that was ready I opened the environment again but it had moved up and was not where I needed it. I finally found where it was and moved my character to get an ok picure but not what I wanted. I have tried closing daz and also restarting my computer but it still does this. I have the same trouble with an other environment Dresden circle Dresden Circle | Daz 3D
The first pictureb is ba screenshot of what I see when I open the environment. The white is the bottom of the scene looking up and directly under the house. The second picture is close to what it was the first time I opened it.

Change camera, you are on the perspective view that rarely is in the right spot when loading a scene.
I tloads with cameras that do show the scene, but the default camera/Perspective View is too low as you show. I don't know why it is set up this way.
That doesn't help. It still loads the character in the right place which is not where I need it. Not only low, but in the house. Trouble there is that I have to move all Characters and props to fit the environment instead of moving the environment.
Put all the environment in a group and move that.
That doesn't work well either. I am wondering if I am the only one with this problem.

What are the parameters of the camera you're using?
Yes it does.... What exactly do you mean it doesnt work well? Create a group, select the relevant component parts of the environment in the screne tab, drag them into the group. Transform the group as desired.
It looks like a very nice set. And Kindred Arts is a well established and knowledable PA.
How about you uninstall the set, and then reinstall. That may reset everything.
Also if delete any scene saves you made and start with a new load, the default "first time working" may reappear. We can't know what you did to cause it to move. Lilweeps's suggestion would absolutely work too.
I use this set all the time. It does indeed load high because of the terrain. What I do is what someone else suggested. I select all of the scene components and create a group out of them and manipulate the scene via the group node. Be sure to disable the ground visible in the environment tab before rendering.
Many environments don't load exactly level with the "floor" for various reasons. If they do not come already parented to their own "ground" or "floor" my general method is to group it, leave my figure at zero position and manipulate the environment to suit. Once you get your camera setup exactly how you want it, parent the camera to the figure and then create a duplicate camera just in case.
