I said it appears to be, I don't know for sure. I'm not sure what else gives that kind of digital artifacts tho. :(

Huh, I see, thanks for explaining! I really think this should be noted in the file description if it is the case. We're supposed to mark our renders in the gallery if AI was used, how will be do that if we just don't know? But I'll leave it at that here to not derail the thread any further.

Given how the verdict is still out as to how AI will officially be regarded legally, I agree that Dreamlight should probably openly mark products that are primarily created using AI tools if the primary portion of the asset is created using a text-based AI generator like OpenAi.  That said, the use of the term AI is a slippery slope, given that a large percentage of DAZ assets contain computer generated elements, especially when one looks at things like textures, where it's difficult to find products that don't have something that went through substance creator, Filter Forge, or even just a resolution enlarger like Gigapixel.

That said, from what I've seen, the trend seems to be to consider there to be a quantifiable difference between an image that is created almost entirely in a text based AI generator like Open AI and then slightly modified in Photoshop, and an image that was composed and created by a human being using assets that may have possibly used AI in their creation.  DeviantArt's rules, for example, defines "art created using AI tools as artwork that is either made entirely with AI tools or consists primarily of AI-generated components. If the main focus of the image is self-created and it only includes a small, insignificant AI-generated component, it does not need to be labeled as created using AI tools."

Now, the question there, is what is considered a "small, insignificant portion." I would argue that use of a commercial resource that was partially created using AI and then sold as an asset via DAZ or Renderosity is NOT the use of AI tools, but rather the manual modification of a commercially available asset that was legally licensed for that purpose by the original creator.  On the other hand, while using a complete AI generated asset that was obtained from an unaffiliated site may be argued to follow the same general rules, the lack of a "legitimate business" like DAZ as an intermediate may make that a harded case to defend.

Now that I have Premier I downloaded some of the extra characters I had missed. Cecila and Lyna are very interchangeable in terms of shape. Good opportunity to try out a creepy coven pose set.

Enjoy all the big and tiny details :)

And yes, the two guys that I was able to download included Carl for Charlie and Boris for Mateo, that I used in coven pose pic.

From what I can tell, the extra Premier charters are just extra shapes, that to me look more like what I'd get from a dial adjustments than custom sculpts? There's no new materials.

Thank you for your comment re:AI, Cybersox. I wanted to write something thoughtful in reply, but you've pretty much covered my feelings.
