Daz Studio problem, does not work.

Hi,

Ever since I upgraded Daz Studio I have had problems.

1 - none of my files would load in, they would show the thumbnail,however when click I continually got ' file not faund' and it still happens.

2 - Now the DIM doedn't work and that has been updated to the latest version.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    What happens when you try to instal with DIM?

    Hi,

    Sorry for not replying sooner, when I load the dim it showe up blank and I can't load anything in to it, even when I try to use the download on the items I have bought.

    I can't give you any further information than that.

    Is this abour Daz Install Manager (DIM) or Daz Studio (DS)?

    It is about both I have tried the work around as sujested by other menbers, but I can't get things to load, the only things I can are only the items that come with the upgrade and when I try to download any items other then that using the DIM the DIM shows up blank ad I can not load anything that I have paid for, all the problems have only happened since the new upgtade.

    So you log in to DIM and can't see any of your purchases listed? Are you sure you are using the right account? What happens if you manually download from the product library page in your account here and then place the zips in the DIM Downlaods folder?

    For DS, that is not showing the content you really have managed to install? Are you sure the paths match? Are you looking in the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats (or Poser Formats) rather than one of the other content views, which depend on the postgreSQL database? If the Content Library is empty download http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start and drag it into the DS Viewport - it should add the current DIM instalation paths, if needed; if you get new entries under Daz Studio Formats and Poser Formats then the diectory settings did not match (but do now).
