What is Daz Studio 4.9?

Hey guys,

A silly question I'm sure, but I haven't been in Daz Studio for a while and when I opened Install Manager today, there was a huge batch of files that need to be updated. Including Daz Studio 4.2.3. I took a look around the Daz site for what was included in recent updates and on the site I see a referencing in the Documentation Center, to Daz Studio 4.9.xx. Is there a newer version that I'm not getting on my machine, as it has the also mentioned 4.2.3? Just wondering what I've missed here.

    It is 4.23.x.x that we are on now, 4.9.x.x is much older (I think it was the first with Iray). Major version (currently 4).minor version (currently 23).update (0 for the general release, 1 for the betas). build (the iterating count of new builds within). Theya re all whole numbers, it isn't a decimal fraction (for which 4.9 would come after 4.23).

    Like I said, I just typed in DAZ Studio updates to see what was new, and this came up in the Documantation Center. Version 4.9.4.122 (See Attachment)

    So I got it. 4.23 as in version 4, build generation #23

    Someone really should update the documentation in the Documentation Center. Just sayin'. wink
