IRAY Presets for Enchanted Forest Question

I've got this thing and it seems like it should be awesome but I can't figure out what Render Settings to use to really make it shine. Right now, every scene is crazy dark. I can see good sun on the trees at the top but I can't see anything in the clearing.
Anyone have any thoughts about what the IRAY Render Settings should be?
Thanks!

Tone Mapping. Think of it like a camera. If the image is dark then you need settings that let more light onto the 'film'.
Try lowering the speed to 60 or raise the ISO to 400, or both
You will have to play with the settings for the scene just like you would with a real camera.
Greetings,
Also, IIRC, Enchanted Forest has a skydome over it. You need to get rid of that, especially if you're using 'Sun & Sky' mode. Been a while since I tried to render that, and I used Reality, but that's the problem I had. (Although it might have been the Return To, so I might be off base. If there's a sky dome, hide it and try that.)

Thank you both very much for the help! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I figured out a few things.
You're right in that it CAN have a Sky Dome but you have to turn that on. There are some IRAY presets for it now that are pretty awesome. In my case, the problem I was having was the time was set to 4 PM for whatever reason. This put the sun WAY on the wrong side of the image so when it cast down, the trees were in the way.
I got around this by getting rid of the trees blocking the scene and setting the time to 1 PM. I then got exactly what I was after for part of the scene. Then, I just lit my characters independently for the shots I was after. I employed the shutter speed technique and it really worked out.
So thanks again!
There are always different ways to get what you want, it is just finding the one that works for the scene. I'm glad you finally got something to work
Don't for get we have a Sun pointer that Iray will use as the sun's position.
But that is what I had to do, is move some trees around soI could get some light where I wanted it. ISO 200 btw is what I used.
