HDRI light through indoor building

hi all is there any possibilities to use HDRI lights on indoor building? usually i render in the room, but i want to use my costum HDRi lights, so i can get the hdri lights, but i still can render the room without windows or opening... is it possible? so i want the hdri lights can pass through the solid materials

    You can use an Iray Section Plane to cut away the wall(s) that block the ambient lights pass thru.

    Use the Finite Box setting for the Dome and shrink it to the inside dimensions of the room. Set it to Draw Dome Off and you will only get the lighting without the background.
