dforce simulation

I *was* using Deforce items without any issues. Worked great.

Suddenly today I started getting the "Error during simulation" message. I looked at the forums here. This prompted me to update my Invidia driver. That worked for a simple figure with dforce hair and no wardrobe. (thought it might be  a memory issue. When I tried an outfit with multiple deforce parts, it crashed again. I also rolled back to an older invidia driver that worked. No dice.

Any ideas of where else to look?

What are the settings in the Advanced tab of the Simulation Settings pane? Does the log give any more information (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File)? Are you restarting the application after it throws an error - generally i find that to be necessary.

here are screen shots of settings.

As I think about it, the issue *may* have coincided with installation of the lastest version of DAZ. Is the previous addition available for download anwhere?

Also, not sure where the error log is located

The Advanced tab, not the Editor tab - on the right of the row of tabs at the top of the pane.

BINGO!   The device settings were set in Intel. Changed to Nvidia and it's back to working.  Thank you!!!

Also, is there a place to leave suggestions for future updates?  I often parent objects to keep them together if I am moving them any distance.  I think a "search" button like the one in the scene tab would be nice in the "parent to" tab
