My favourite role was as Doc Holiday in Tombstone where he pretty much "stole" the film.

RIP, Val Kilmer. I'll always remember "Iceman" in Top Gun.
A documentary 'Val' came out a few years ago - its very good. He could be a very difficult man to work with by most accounts, but there was no denying his talent. From the manic performance in Top Secret to an incredible Jim Morrison, he could turn his hand to anything. Such a shame. RIP

Oh wow. That's heartbreaking. I hope that his family, friends, loved ones, and everyone negatively affected by his passing is brought to a place of comfort and healing.
My first time seeing him was when I was a kid watching Willow. I will never forget his portrayal of Madmartigan. I have watched many movies with him in it over the years and he never failed to impress me with his range and acting abilities. He is greatly missed. Rest in peace, Val Kilmer. May you be with God.
A great actor with a tragic fate and a difficult character. My favourite film with Kilmer, apart from ‘The Doors’, is ‘Thunderheart’, alongside Graham Greene and John Trudell. RIP, and thank you, Mr Kilmer.
RIP Val - so many great movies
