3D model for atoms/molecules/periodic chart?

  For a periodic chart you can just use a plane with an image of the periodic chart, or add a frame if is shall look more fancy.

  For the atoms/molecules I am not sure what you would expect?

  Blender always had some support for molecules in 3D. For example check:

  Blender for Scientists - Atomic Nodes: Working with Molecules in Blender 4.2+ (MN Has Double Bonds!)

  No, just sort of the basics of chemistry for entertainment, no organic molecule chains or such.
