  • Thanks Sassy :) I tend to like vintage and rhetro stuff and also period stuff so I'll probably do more though I will probably sprinkle in some more fantasy stuff too since I do like that as well :)

  • :)

  • I don't think this quite qualifies as a bikini, even a "vintage" one. The feature that distinguished the first bikini from other two-piece swimsuits of the time was that it was cut below the navel.

  • Nice work. Who are the models/skins you used in third promo?

Some were not but as with anything when you create, certain liberties get taken during the creative process :) Hopefully even though it is above the navel people will still like it :)

I am not positive as I didn't do those promos but I'll ping the person who did for you so they can answer :)

Plus being just above the navel, I can see versatility in this......bikini top used as a halter top in possible modern art....bottoms can be sexy shorts too :D

I should mention the word bikini was used loosely since Vintage Two Piece or Vintage Bathing Suit seemed to not sound as nice to me though I reckon its better akin to those specific names, sorry for any confusion due to my name choice :)

3rd promo as in the 3 girls or the artistic one?
for the 3 girls its one of Fred W´s girls, v7 and I think I used the freebie Silver made for DS Creative magazine but all with v7 skin
It was either just v7 & skin or Fred W´s Gillian. Cant remember which one :)
I usually keep track of it by writing it down as I do the images but forgot on this one.

    Thanks as always.

Camilla mentioned above she used FredWinklerArt's girls, possibly "Gillian", with the V7 skin. Scan through FW's catalogue and see if you can recognize the face morphs.

Thanks :) Though I must admit, the pockets are not modeled but rather faked well :) But the fact you thought they were modelled I will take as a compliment :) HUGS!

  • The hairs are Elite Ponytail and Icie hair (both DAZ) models are v7 & Amy by Silver, a freebie face morph done for our 1 year anniversary of DS Creative Magazine http://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_13 page 73, skin v7 :)

wow, the forum search certainly sucks. Had to google to find this one again.

I just wanted to post this image here, to show that the Vintage Bikini can be quite versatile and doesn't necessarily HAVE to be used as a bikini. The top is brilliant to use as a halter top in other ones. Here G3 is wearing the Streetwear Jeans for Genesis, and the Vintage Bikini top with one of the texture add ons. :) (and i can imagine the bottoms being used as shorts too)
