Spacemouse - in what ways can it be used?

Hi - quite tempted to pick up a spacemouse - I see from videos online it can be used to manipulate scenes, but can you use it in Daz to manipulate the orientation of objects within the scene as well?  Would be really useful for alignment of multiple objects!  Thank you!

SpaceMouse is a dream come true for certain Blender workflows like sculpting or painting. You can orbit objects or fly through the scene much more precisely (and quickly) than viewport controls, and it feels intuitive even when compared to muscle memory with the typical keyboard and mouse shortcuts.

I haven't tried it in Daz yet, but my guess the strengths will be in exploring camera angles, and working on detailed posing that looks good from all angles. You could maybe use it to position lights (or a camera first, then parent a light to it and zero out the light's transforms to align it to where you're looking)

As far as SpaceMouse sizes go, Pro seems best to me. Enterprise is enormous and awkward for some desks; Compact is too light and might skid around on some desks.

I only just tried setting my Enterprise up for DS again, because in my earlier attempts DS was far, far too sensitive, and basically touching the puck in any way sent the camera spinning. I don't use DS very much these days, so it probably won't become a major part of my workflow, but it's great in C4D and Houdini.

It apparently works better if you enabled dominant mode in the advanced settings (credit to hjake)
