Please, hair vendors keep on supporting G8F.
I have no use for G9 only hair, since I will loose dforce property, when converting them to G8.

Full G8F conversion compatibility for existing G9 dForce hair, please? And none of this heirarchial materials B.S.!
Hello there! Let me offer a vendor's perspective.
Short answer: There simply isn't a big enough market for it. Most users use the latest figure which is currently Genesis 9.
Now dForce hair is a bit of a special case since as you mentioned it cannot be easily autofitted between different figures. Therefore as a vendor, it simply does not make sense for you to create content that is for the last gen figure only.
You might be thinking, can't you just make two versions of the same hair? One for G9 and one for G8?
Well sure, you could. But who in their right mind goes to work and does twice as much labour for the same pay?
Bear in mind that although the base model might be the same, everything has to be setup TWICE. All the morphs, all the materials, all the rigging etc.
So long story short, more last gen content in general is not something that would be on most vendor's radar. It simply does not make sense financially.
I hope this answeres your question.
If you are interested, I wrote a tutorial about how you can use your G8 hairs on G9 - https://www.deviantart.com/toyen-art/journal/Tutorial-How-to-Fit-Poseable-Hair-to-Genesis-9-933611835
I have been told this approach also works in reverse (using G9 hair on G8).
It is a tedious process and definitely less than ideal but it can be done.

Thank you for your answer.
I do understand.
I just needed to know, what the chances are, and where I am at with DAZ Studio.
I don't see a problem converting hair, but there is the problem to convert SBH dforce hair, while keeping its dforce property.
This is an intended hindering block, for it is possible, but for vendors only.
However thank you for explaining and thank you for your tutorial.
If you simply parent a hair to the head of a character model, not "fit to", then you can use any hair from any generation on any other gen character. It does involve some dial spinning to make it match the character's head shape and use the existing adjustment morphs to deal with poke thru but all the existing morphs still function with this method. Yes it is a work around. Not optimal, but waiting for a new product for an older generation of character is unfortunately less likely unless you consider other storefronts.
Thank you for this work around.
Parenting the hair is a very unsatisfying workaround.
It might be time for me to move on.
