Where is my membership?

lachilachi Posts: 102

When I clicked on "Membership Management" today the page looked different than before.
Previously it showed a date until when my current membership would be valid but now it only says "Current Tier Daz Base".

I should still have some months worth of Daz+ membership because I took one of those offers to get 1 year of membership without subscription before Daz Premier was introduced.
Also I am sure that my membership is still active because I can see the montly coupons for March.

But can somebody tell me where I can see the duration of my Daz+ membership?

I have the same problem - my membership (under the "old" Daz+ membership) should last till July 2026, but there is no sign of  this information now.

You're not the only ones, seems to be a display bug in the membership page but the membership works. That also happened to some members when they launched Premier membership, and will likely be fixed quickly.

My DAZ+ membership was until December, 2025. I think it was the 12th, but I am not certain. Hopefully corrected before staff leaves for the weekend.

    Update:

WOW I just noticed it put me at base tier. I guess I won't be buying anything until that is fixed. However the main page does indicate my discounts as a DAZ+ member.

As noted above, you are probably not in Base - it is a display issue on the membership page (which is being looked at) but it doesn't affect actually using your membership (prices and coupons).

Sorry i didn't see this before posting the same issue in the sales errors thread! Okay, so we'll just wait till the problem is fixed then.

I checked this morning and the membership issue is still there. I have submited a ticket to DAZ Technical Support. One problem I encountered is the support ticket asked for the order number. I have over 380 orders last year. I am not going through all of them to find which one the DAZ+ membership was on!

The product library only shows the invoice for my 2011 PC+ order, so I only entered DA24 for the order number.

could it effect credits for upgrade which would then require another support ticket to get the appropiate credit?

I suspect the issue is all the legacy DAZ+ memberships do not sync properly with the new methods of DAZ+ and DAZ Premier memberships.

One way around it is to issue an email notice to all legacy members that they have a DAZ+ membership and it will expire on "DATE" without automatic renewal. if they do not want their membership to lapse they should upgrade to one of the new, lemony fresh, DAZ memberships. They can also note that although they have DAZ+ membership, it will not show up on the membership page as the legacy membership system is not compatible.

This way the DAZ+ member has proof of membership and DAZ can just concern themselves with their lemony fresh membership.

If you were mis-chjarged or have lost member features then yes, open a ticket. if the only issue is the display on the membership page showing base then that is not a significant issue, and daz is aware of it and looking into it, so a ticket isn't really necessary.

If I upgraded right now with the issue, would I get the credit for the remaining balance on my plan or have to submit a ticket for the credit?

Is it the only issue, though? I'm also at the fake "base member," I have over a month of old Daz+ left, and my "update to annual" page shows no discounts for that one month (even if it was prorated according to what I paid for the old membership vs. the value of the monthly membership now, there would be a slight change in the amount). This would mean that if I buy now, with the new membership not stacking with the old one, I'll get less than 2 months free instead of advertised 3.

In that case I would open a ticxket, yes. Only if it seems to have no effect beyond displaying base as the active membership would it seem best to skip a ticket for now - if there are material consequences then that is a perfectly good reason to contact Daz.

After careful consideration, I decided against getting the annual membership, so I guess I'll save them the ticket. Especially that I doubt it would be resolved before this "extended sale" ends, but I appreciate you getting back to me. :)

Well I was able to find the invoice for my membership without a ton of searching. I went into file options on Windows File Explorer and enabled search in documents. Then searched the folder where i keep a pdf of all my DAZ invoices. Query was simply "membership" et voila. I extended my membership in June of 2024.

However, considering I have until December this year and I purchased my membership on a discount, then it does not make much sense to cancel the current membership until I recieve a fantastic DAZ+ membership replacement offer.

AND some else, in the forums, pointed out the prices at DAZ have increased with the times, but the monthly coupons have not. The cost benefit value has deteriorated a lot in the past year.

The premier membership does not appeal to me because I already have all the free content it offers and temporary content ownership does not really benefit me. Also I can wait for the latest version of DAZ Studio since I am working to shift my efforts to Blender.

I'm a huge advocate for Premier, but still passing on the Annual Membership.  In these unsure economic times, I'm don't know how much longer I'll even buy enough to justify Premier for the new few months, let alone an entire year (or the previousy attainable 15 months).

It can be a great deal, especially for new users. I have over 13,500 items according to the DAZ store and just about every script or plugin DAZ has published.

With the transition to DAZ Studio 5 for compatibility with Nvidia RTX 5000 series cards it seems I will have continue exploring alternative avenues to DAZ Studio, hence the push on Blender.

Well now it is 16:45 HRS in Utah on March 28, 2025 and still I have a blank membership page. I am turning blue from holding my breath waiting for the fix and no reply to my request submitted on March 22, 2025.

This ius a problem for everyone who purchjased early, Daz is working to fix it, CS is not needed and may well be ignoring such tickets for now in order not to take time on something that will be fixed en masse when they could be handling actual individual issues that won't have a general fix.

Urgh, I wonder if that's why my sales error ticket is taking so long, it's unrelated but maybe the title of the ticket isn't clear enough.

Are there any forecast on when Daz will have fixed subscription status (view)?
