Additive geoshells

I would love to have the ability to merge geoshells together, or add other things to geoshells. Like say add a pair of pants to a geoshell made from the figure it is on, it would be super helpful for fitting a shirt over the figure and on top of the pants by using it as the collision object in smoothing.

You can do already do this.
How?
By using textures with opacity maps
some products like bodysuit underwear and stockings in the store do this

By setting Smoothing Modifier collision to the appropriate geoshell
The way smoothing collision works, you can only have it collide with one thing at a time. Being able to combine more things into a geoshell would fix that, or just allowing multiple collision objects, I figured the geoshell thing would be an easier thing to do so I went with that. You can have it collide with either the figure, or something else, not both.
Many years later, have you been able to solve this. The only way I know of is to export the things (multiple objects) you want to set as your collision object and import them (as one object), later setting it invisible, and then set up your Smoothing Modifier. You could also likely do the smoothing separately for each object, create morphs for each collision object and then play with them or use something like Mesh Grabber. All great, or not, for still renders but all useless for animations. Anyways, just curious.
Theres a multi-layer shader on the store if that helps
this free "lite" version has 4 layers that you can test with
it can be used on any surface

here's the full version

Thanks for the info. I might play with this. But my use case was more one of layered clothing or similar complex geometry (grafts maybe) and collisions. Overcoming the limitation of one collision object (character and couch say) still trips me up from time to time.
