I don't have it, but it's a 'for Genesis 8 Female' Character, so my guess is Shani is using the default G8F UV.
well , Thanx -
but thoughrt it's Not some Custom one is it
Most Genesis 8 characters use the base UVs.
It's the Base Female UV set.
In future, if you're concerned about this, there is a pretty solid tell - the file list for the product in the Read-me*: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/48431/file_list
There are no new UV sets listed for G8F there, only UV sets for the included props, so as it doesn't have any other prerequisite products that include alternate UVs, it must be using the Base UV.

* Assuming it's a product that has a read me. I can understand why the stuff the Rendo intake hasn't got Smart Content metadata, as that requires human intervention, but surely these things could at least be given a batch processed page on the Documentation Centre that provides things like the file lists.

_ Thanx Very Much _
Shouldn't have been such much of a problem, as every product sold (ot, at least, every product I bought are looked at) at Rendo came with a readme on it's shop page that had a detailed file list for the product. Should have been possible to come up with a parser to extract the data to put it to get viewed here in the products' pages, imho.
That would account for custom UVs created for the character, but not for using a non-standard UV set from another character. However, most Daz name 8/8.1 characters do use the stnadard UVs so there were very few others (and some ofthose were special purpose, e.g. to gie a seamless wrap). Checking which UVs were used was much more of an issue with older generations of Genesis.
As I said, it doesn't have any pre-requisite products, so couldn't be using a UV set from another character - only things that are either within the product itself or available to G8F by default.
I guess yes, it could be that the information provided is incomplete or incorrect, but characters built on top of another character shape are pretty reliably labelled on the store, and an error like that would almost certainly have been caught by a customer support ticket in the seven years since the product came out. I don't think there's many things on the store where the documentation available before purchase wouldn't let the customer make an accurate guess about whether it might be using a non-standard UV.
(Also, although it may not have been clear, I did actually check the product, as I do have it. And it is definitely using the Base Female UVs.)
alrite then , has been Answered + Thanx
