Little Black Dress for Genesis 3 Female(s) is this outfit only Iray or also for 3Delight? I do not know from description.

    Better questions are: How many material zones does it have?  How is it UV mapped?  The answers to these questions will determine if general purpose cloth shaders will work well on it.

    woulda bought a couple of the new items today, but for the lack of non-iray promos and specific product description specifying shaders.

    Well I do not know what is so difficult to write in a descrition:

    This product is for Iray and 3Delight

    or

    This product is for Iray

    or

    This product is for 3Delight

    just a view words

    The description clearly says "Iray Materials", nothing about 3Delight, so it has Iray mats only....

     

    If an item has both materials, it is also stated( example: Manhattan Dress):

    Little Black Dress seems to work for me in 3Delight. See examples attached.

    I agree the product descriptions are very confusing, though!

    These product list that they can be used in Poser via the DSON importer.  Since Poser does not have Iray, it is likely that the products not only have Poser materials but 3Delight materials as well.

    3Delight materials would not work well in Poser any more than Poser materials work well in 3Delight.  Learn to adjust the material settings for your choosen renderer/shader and it won't matter what the presets where made for.

    Well I do not know Iray, if it is just about setting the materials then it is no problem
