Poser Pro 2014 reg problem (back to the past)

I've asked this at Rendo but no real help. I have a full working version of Poser Pro 2014 on an old computer. I want to use it on my new computer but have lost the registration number which is no longer visible on the 'about' page since SMC changed their policy about doing that. So is there any way of finding the number since it must be buried in some file somewhere for Poser to know it? My old emails from SMC are long gone.

So, if I am understanding you correctly, you have a old PC that is still working with it installed, and you want to know where you can find the serial number on that machine?
You would need to ask Renderosity Poser support that, for anyone else to help would probably be a breach of the EULA at best.
Looking into it a bit, I don't think it will work even if you wer able to find it. Smith micro used a call home and verify BS scheme, and they no longer own the software, so their verification server is gone.
Oh, well. Thanks. I do have a working version of Poser 7 at least. and someone at Rendo told me a working version of Poser 2012 was available for $29 so I may go with that. I use Studio all the time mostly but occassionaly would like to use Poser for this and that.
