The important is that it brings you so much fun, @WendyLuvsCatz
I am still have not enough spare time to play with animations.
Great, that we have a FilaToon now, so I can test some ideas in Daz Studio.
Ha, I learned there is a random user with zero posts simply called Wendy
just add an @ to find them all
@DAZ
Stopping by to see if anyone had comments on the new releases by OpenAI, including but not limited to SORA.
https://www.genmo.ai/play
not openAI but a new free Video generator, open Source too, hopefully builds for A1111, ComfyUI, Pinokio etc will come
Many of the AI video enthusiasts on X(twitter)
report that even the $200 per month new version of Sora is “underwhelming” and lagging behind it’s competitors even some of the free ones.
Had to postt this here. Two things.
1. Not a fan of AI and do not utilize it, but FYI Amazon is now asking authors to indicate if AI was used in either the cover or manuscript. Wondering if it will later relate to low content.
2. This is amazing, and I really respect how AI pulled this one off. Watched the trailer for Tom Hanks 'HERE Movie' $50 million dollar Movie made with Generative AI to de-age him and holy crap, it blew me away!
Here's an interview about it.
I have installed another local one in Pinokio called COG
it does text to video (pretty bad, Modelscope is better)
image to video (not bad, better than some online ones but Kilng, Pika, Haiper, Luma and MiniMax still better, not tried Luma)
it does take a while but actually doesn't use that much VRAM about 7GB
the interpolation is from RIFE because it's only 8fps hence the blurring, does 6 seconds of video though
upscales to 4K too, I added lipsync and faceswap (face was bit blurry and made it higher resolution) in FaceFusion to this, it's also a Fooocus edited image to make the Impressionist Manet painting more photorealistic
COG can extend videos too and change the subject of video with prompts but not tried that yet as will involve hours of more model downloading and my internet rather slow lately, worse I had 5 power outages one for 7 hours the past 2 days
this might be of interest to many as trained on Public Domain content
I will certainly look into using this model if someone can create a webui that's not node based like ComfyUI
hopefully a checkpoint for A1111 or Fooocus
Cool. Thanks for the link.
And, any thoughts on Pika v2?
Forget Sora —Pika Labs drops v2 of its creative AI video model
no longer available to me without a subscription
I did get a lot of use out of the old verson so I guess that was inevitable
another animated AI manipulation of a 3D render
(starts off as 3D CGI png sequence layers followed by MINIMAX:Hailou and Stable Diffusion Deforum animations)
AI Generated music
A lot of clothes dynamics.
Happy New Year, @WendyLuvsCatz
Virtual World Dynamics Carrara bridge on my Win7 mostly
(won't load on Win10)
they are all png series
and Thanks,hope this year improves
That HERE movie looks like it will be amazing - I can't wait to see it!
I've seen a few people talk about "punching up" their artwork with AI. While I'm not the biggest fan of AI, I think using it as a tool to enhance one's own artwork is perfectly fine. I'm not programer, but would it be a more advanced version of an instagram filter or photoshop addon?
I want to do the same with my own work, but have no idea where to start. I don't have time to read through 20 some pages on this thread. Anyone have any recommendations for where to start?
video
not my art remixed but might involve it in future
I created a LoRa based on my late cat Lynx and honestly it brings a tear to my eye as to how much like him it is
I will be able to postwork him into renders too with inpainting so future projects would indeed involve 3D rendering too
yes, he is my forum avatar
Wow, looks really great. I'm sorry for your loss.
thanks
it's been 3 years now, I am just thrilled I can create new images and videos of him
DAZ studio render, the song is the Ai
I am still figuring out the Barnabus Mimic Configuration, he lacks some morphs I need for some visemes
For full images, try the enhancer at Krea. For parts of renders, you will need inpainting. I use Fooocus which is stand alone on your own PC. PM me is you want any video links on how to use it or just search YT for Fooocus inpainting
a new upscaler called Supir is out, trying it in Pinokio but of course it uses the Bfloat16 my GPU cannot do as lacks the tensor core thingies (technical term for Wendyknowsnothing)
I checked the options given in the GUI but the terminal still just shows the error that my older GPU not supported
https://github.com/Fanghua-Yu/SUPIR?tab=readme-ov-file
no free online cloud based GUI option to try either
I ended up unistalling it from Pinokio as couldn't use it
not for free sadly
the local install is though if you have the hardware
shared some of these earlier (mostly added the second part of this video) but did more using the same and other renders for a longer video
the earlier video is embeded on the previous page or here

you can easily see how the quality of animations have improved by comnparing it to the video of just the later ones on my facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/wendy5/videos/642197201988217
Really liked the music and how it tied to the video. Is that generated too and did you write the lyrics?
yes Ai generated and no, I didn't write the lyrics just a prompt
Thanks Wendy. I thought the music was quite interesting, is there a link ?
https://www.riffusion.com/
Thank you!
I am finding AI generated songs/music for my animations to be very useful in animation.
Here are some original songs from suno.ai
with the voice tracks used for lipsyncing character in my 2D animation software
