I seem to have uncovered another mystery (mysterious to me at least
): if all of the nodes I wish to render are stacked right on top of each other, is there some way to have Render Doctor show/hide each node sequentially as it renders them? As things stand now I get 6 renders of the same node or collection of nodes, depending upon which nodes are visible at the time that I fire up Render Doctor.
Thanks again,
Andrew
Wow, that was fast! I didn't even have a chance to read the original post
Thanks @Barbult
No, there is not a way to have Render Doctor show/hide each node.
I was wondering about this product and if it can render the same charcter that has a different pose stored in multiple aniblocks? So I have the first aniblock with a pose, than a sub track with a different pose. One aniblock is visible at a time but could Render Doctor render two different visibilty instances of the aniblocks using either the same or different cameras?
No, it cannot do that. Sorry.
Ok. Thank you for the reply.
I can't render my cameras. When I go to Render Cameras and select the ones I want to render they render completely different. Here's the final result https://imgur.com/a/RdW29sw
This is the basketball court from outside and zoomed out. All my cameras ale placed INSIDE it, but for some reason Render Doctor changes the position of cameras. How can I prevent it from doing it? I want it to render exaclty was is seen by the camera.
That feature has been working a while. What cameras are you selecting? What is the output filename pattern?
I checked it today. It is working fine for me.
Thanks for the confirmation @barbult
I'm fully aware that problem lies in my lack of understanding or wrong settigs :D
Here are the exact steps I make which lead me to mentioned result.
Once I finished posing, set up all my cameras and lighting I open Render Doctor. Click Render > Render Cameras and I select Camera A, C, D

Then I go to Output Options. Set the output directory and type my renders' name. I leave everything checked as is.

When I try to hit big button called Render I get error which tells me I need to select Nodes. So I go to Render Nodes and choose Custom and then I check once again the same 3 cameras (A, C, D in this case). I leave "All skeletons separately" setting checked.

Then I hit Render button (not Render Current Scene) and this is the moment in which the position on camera changes and render starts but it produces wrong perspective.
It probably shouldn't be configured this way. I strongly believe this is a great tool and I'm just too dumb to use it correctly. I'm quite new do DAZ and there are lots of things I need to learn.
Render Nodes is for a different rendering process (render the nodes of a scene by moving different cameras to them). In your first screenshot, you were in Render Cameras: https://imgur.com/a/QKT1hN3 Click THAT big render button. Also, your output will have each camera render and overwrite the next, every file will be called "My Render". Add "%c" so that Render Doctor will appened the camera label to the filename, making them all unique.
Where does Render Doctor store favourite data? I wanted to replace preview image, but couldn't locate it.
Great product RiversoftArt, I recently got into daz and I don't enjoy subscription mechanics, so Render Doctor has been a blessing.
Wherever application support is. On the Mac, it is /Library/Application Support/DAZ 3D/Render Doctor/Favorites/ I think on windows it is %appdata%
