Gen 9 geometry shell or suit for Gen 8?
Is there a product yet to place a geometry shell or suit onto Gen 8 so Gen 9 skin textrues can be applied?

Geometry shell wouldn't work for that.

Only one geo-graft product... and no version for G8M so far...
Alternatively，a better practice is to convert you G8 characters to G9.
Is it possible for a Genesis 3/8/8.1 Geoshell to use Genesis 9 UV to, as an example, use the Genesis 9 version of Vellus Horizon ? Compared to the Genesis 8 version, the Genesis 9 version will not get Daz stuck at the geometry step of rendering an image when used on a figure with Mesh Resolution set higher than 3.
Yes, a geoshell on G3/G8 can adopt G9's UV which is set on G3/G8's surfaces.
