DS 4.8 - My parameter Tab is gone - how can I fix this?

DX 4.8 - My parameter Tab is gone. Under "windows - panes (tabs)" I can see the icon but when clicking on it nothing happens.

    have started ds4.8 new nothing, have started the pc new, nothing...it is gone

    do I have to install ds 4.8 new?

    When my interface goes wonky..I just re-pick the layout from the menu to reset it to the save'd way I have it.

    Hi cosmo if you accidently remove a tab you can always find them on the top tool bar  under <windows< tabs< select tools from there.

    Switching the layout back and forth does usually work, but if all else fails, there's always the default settings; go into Edit>Preferences>Interface and click the Restore Factory Defaults button at the bottom.
