Before I go to the trouble to install and experiment with Mudbox, could someone who has it let me know if this tutorial works for them, if there's an easier way, and if this same method works for Genesis 2 or any other figure or prop with multiple UVs?

Thanks very much!

It worked for me, and should work no matter what figure you're using.
I have been trying out Mudbox recently & that way only works for G3 - There is a forum link for importing G2 textures for painting

Thanks, I figured different steps might be required for anything other than G3. I've only been using Mudbox for about a half an hour and I already like it more than Zbrush. :) Do you happen to know of any tutorials or other information regarding using it in conjunction with DAZ content?
I found a way separating the G2 uv (or other model with overlaying UV) in blender and AndyGrimm posted another way to prepare in Daz Studio. I keep messing it up in Daz I dont know why haha

Thank you Digi, I will try that Studio one today and see if I mess it up too. :)
I will try that out if I can get Mudbox installed again. I forgot to deregister it when I reset my computer.
