Is it OK to delete these DIM Install files?

I'm looking at my hard drive wondering where all my space is going. I just figured out that I have 74GB in my DAZ Install Manager folder. Are these OK to delete? Once DIM downloads the files and installs them, are these files necessary? Is there any harm in deleting them or does that break something?

You can delete the files in the Downloads folder after installing them.

You should not delete them before saved them on an external HD. Since I do 3D rendering and buying stuff from stores I make back ups of the Zip files and also of the installers (former times) on external HDs so if something bad happens and your machine and also your backup of your HD is broken you can easily use the Zips and also the former installers to install all new on a new machine. So, make one or two back ups of all your Zip files on one or two different external HDs before deleting the Zips :)

Go to the Installed tab. Right click on the product, in the drop down box you will see Delete Package(s) option. That's how you deleted the zip and file.

That's how you do it if you only want to delete one or two. If you want to delete a thousand (like I did a few weeks ago), you do it wholesale through the operating system.
