I updated my signature to include a link to the videos I did for beginners. Several people asked me about the link (signature links disappeared with the new forum) and I had to go back and dig to find it. Although the videos are from 2013, it shows you how to use the Parameter tab and some of the basics. They are videos but everything is printed, not verbal, so it's easier to follow along. Hope it helps. (See signature below.)
How were you trying to remove the driver
yes is was at intel site and downloaded the program that search for intel drivers to update them and it told me I was up to date..I know that my graphic card should handle this.. I am going to keep trying to figure this out, because I really don't want to quit on this, but if I can't find a solution, I have decided not to close account anyway, I am going to enjoy interacting and looking at other creations.
thank you for your input.

That should be burned into every computer case, keyboard, mouse, monitor ever made.
The least of the problems is WU is only one or two versions back from the 'latest'.
Guess what you wonderful people, I fixed it ,it is up and running yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. I am so happy, and thank for all the encouragement and input..
Yours truely

Wonderful! We look forward to seeing you more around here.
Hi mjvol
I originally downloaded Daz Studio in 2012 and deleted it after 2 days of thinking I'd never be able to do anything with it. March 2015 I revisited Daz and started using the forums this time and everyone here is very very helpful. If this is something you want to do, you can do it without a shadow of a doubt and you will.
It's a steep learning curve but with the support you can find here on the forums you will start finding your way round in no time. It's overwhelming how much there is to learn initially, but when you put in the time and a little help from our forum friends you'll be churning out some cracking renders in no time.
From 2012 where I struggled with the first Daz tutorial to make an avatar to when I started in March this year, after a couple of months looking at tutorials, some help from the forums and even purchasing some dreamlight tutorials to boot I feel like I'm actually learning things now and getting to the point where I am happy to show some of the renders I have been doing, must start uploading some to the gallery at some point!
Here's a quick render I did to try out the Alien Metals iRay shades from Eva1 as well as learning to apply shaders etc for iRay
@mjvol, when you quote someone be sure to do a few returns before you type, otherwise your text goes into the quote.
Just wanted to welcome you here, I have been messing with Daz Studio since 2004, I kinda come and go depending on how real life is going, but everytime I get back here trying to learn and asking questions there are so many helpful people ready to give advice on how to do things and answering my questions no matter how silly they may seem to be. I am glad you got the driver issues figured out and didn't give up, I am looking forward to seeing your posts of artwork in the very near future!! :)
Alright thank you for the advice..
Mjvol
Thank you and will be seeing you also ..Taker easy.

Thank you for the info, anything free will be fine by me. I'm on a set income, so thanks for these ideas..

I'm glad you managed to get that problem turned around. Welcome aboard!
I'll second that.
Thanks. :-) All I see in it are the many, many, mistakes I made.
But keep in mind, to make the first picture took a month, with too many test renders to count. But with every render, I learned something new, because I got a lot of help from everyone.
(Here's render no 12 of that set, just for illustration purposes.)
I'm glad to hear that you solved the card issue, and I'm looking foreard to see you soar!
Thanks I wouldn't call my encouragment a waste of time even if you don't use DS. I know dyslexia is not brain damage but it sure does make reading hard so IMHO you shuldn't give up now. Give it 6 months and see how it is coming and see if you enjoy it. Aim low a first.
Sorry have not replied to you, I finially got back here, just wanted to say thank you for encouraging me and give me help. Thanks.
Don't ever feel you can't message me ok, my message door is always open. Take care

Thank you Barbult.
