Horror From The Deep Pose Issue

Just getting around to playing with [Horror From The Deep] this guy when i remember why i moved off this figure in the past.  I have this posing problem when i use some of the stock poses (amely Pose1), around his large tentacle area.  Was this ever addressed?

I use an older version of DS (DS2.3) and this is the PS version.

    Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but im still having this issue.  Rich, did you try this in DS2.3 or something newer?  
    Im pretty sure the latter, but i just wish to verify.

    And did you use the Poser or DS version?

    I'd missed that it was being an issue in 2.3, I think - not sure where I have a copy of that to test.
