The ISS model seems to be a real huge set with tons of polygons, does it need much recources (ram)

I got it the minute it came out and love it!  In this version I have applied IRAY materials to various parts and it really brings it further to life (with some post work for planet and it's reflection on solar panels, signature, etc.).  I don't know any technical details about the model, but it was easy to work with and I don't recall any issues at all. I think because it represents such a large 'thing' it is easy to assume that it has lots of polys. Other users' experiences may vary, but I don't have a single regret or issue with it.  (You can also ask for your money back if it you buy it and take it for a spin on your computer and find it lacking.)

[Edited to add]:  It shows as a 40MB download, but 157 MB installed, if that helps any.

That'll be a fairly heavy mesh, but probably not to the point where it'll break systems as long as you're not adding a million characters to the scene.

    Nice render!

Just curious if anyone has tried it with the M3 space suit model.

I love the M3 spacesuit but it is such a PITA to work with - it has hands from hell!  I'd happily pay a handsome sum to have an updated version. (Updated figure, updated textures etc.)  And, yes, I know there are a couple of other spacesuits here on DAZ - I have them each, but none of them capture that same historical feel as the M3 Spacesuit and Explorer set. (The promo for the 60's Dinette set haunts me for how cool they used the M3 Suit in the main image!)

Having said that, the promo images for the ISS have the M3 suit in some of them.

Seconded. I've tried converting it to Genesis as well, and my DAZ-fu is just not up to the job — the suit and gloves actually convert not too badly, but the boots are, as usual, misbehaving a bit, and the backpack and helmet distort beyond my ability to fix them. I definitely wouldn't mind paying for an updated version by someone who (unlike me) knows what they're doing.

Matter of fact, looking at the store page for the first time in years, I'm surprised it doesn't even mention what I consider one of the main plus points of the model; the helmet has all the sunshades of the original Apollo-era suit as separate parts that can slide up and down.

Well, if it is to huge right now, someday I will have a new machine so...if I buy it I will keep it :) I do render in 3D-Light right now because my machine is not the newest but with the AoA lights you can do a lot so renders in 3d-light with AoA lights are also good quality :)

what do you have on RAM? Think this is an issue for this model

I do have a pretty sweet Dell Alienware system so I know it is not like the days when I was always just squeaking by with minimum specs.  :)   I have an Alienware R4 with 32GB ram and an Nvidia GTX680 video card.
