Daz Studio 4.6 64 bit pro

Hello, is it possible to get the latest version of Daz Studio 4.6 pro 64 bit? I do not want to work with daz studio 4.7 or 4.8 because some of the "innovations" I do not want and need. I have downloaded daz studio 4.8 64 bit and installed it but I do not want it so I installed daz studio 4.6 pro 64 bit again but unfortunatelly the version I have seems not to be the latest I had before I have installed daz studio 4.8. I think I have updated daz studio 4.6 64 pro once but.

my version of daz studio 4.6 64 bit pro is: 4.6.1.33 64 bit pro

You would have to submit a support ticket to see if they can provide you with the version you need.  I believe the final release version of 4.6 was 4.6.3.52

If I remember well daz previously stored older versions of daz studio in its store and also updates but it seems that daz more and more gets customer unfriendly.

No, if I remember correctly, DAZ 3D has never provided anything but the latest version (except for Betas).

must be possible to get the latest version of daz studio 4.6 64 bit pro. I had 4.5 once and have updated to 4.6 but after that I run also an update for 4.6 but I can`t remember that I got the latest version of it as download or installer. I save all downloads and installers on external HD´s as backup but I can`t find the version I have had just 4.6.1.33 and that is not the version I have worked with at least.

I've been with this software for a very long time and only the latest versions were available.  Sometimes, with pre-4.5 (maybe 4.0) you could get a slightly older version at Download.com as it seemed to take a while before they updated the download.  But here, at the store, all you could get was the latest.

okay, can be, but the thing is if you have downloaded and installed the latest version, in this case 4.8 64bit and you recognize that you don`t like it and you want to work with the older version 4.6 again like me but 4.6 will not work after installing 4.8 and you have to reinstall 4.6 but you only got the not updated version and want the version you have hab before installing 4.8 you got a problem. I know I run an update for daz 4.6 64 bit pro once but as written above I can`t remember that I got a file or installer for it.

DAZ Studio is only updated as a full installer or zip.

hmm, I allways save all installers or zips but this version is the only of 4.6 I have found and it seems not to be the one that I have had at least because the smoothing modifier and also the subD convertation is not at the place where they was before. The are under edit but under edit at the pane menu if I select "scene" and not under edit in the menu-line where they was before. there was the selection object or figure and under each where apply smoothing modifier and convert to subD that is not the case in the version I have right now.

They should be under Edit > Figure > Geometry and Edit > Object > Geometry.  You could try running the "Update and Merge Menus" script and see if that restores them.

i wish they would make available the valentina installer that came with 4.6.2.118

if i ever have to rebuild my hdd, dont think i saved the valentina installer, unless it's bundled in with the 4.6.2.118 installer?

  • What critical error? Go to Help>Troubleshooting>View Log file after running the script, scroll to the end and paste the lines relating to running the script and the error here.

Valentina CMS installer is built into the stand-alone DS installer up to and including 4.7.
