Not getting any attention mails anymore

Hello!

Since the switch to the new forum, I'm not getting any attention mail anymore when someone posts in a thread I'm active in or following. Now, is there something I'll have to do to get that function back, or is it an error somewhere which has stopped this from working?

    1}   Have you bookmarked the threads that you are interested in

    2}  Have you set up your Notification preferences in your profile, to say how you want to be notified and on what.

    I have the same problem..been dealing with the helpdesk about it for a couple of weeks.

    In your profile, click on your name, either from under your avatar or in the gear icon at the top of the page, and it takes you to your profile.

    The gear icon on that page gives you all the options.

    I found it, but I had no luck in finding anything about attention mails.

    What I got was a list saying

     Notification Preferences
     Change My Picture
     Edit My Thumbnail
     Ignore List
     Quote Settings
     Signature Settings

    Which of nothing seems to be what I'm looking for. I tried 'Notification Preferences' which gave me


    Notify me when people write on my wall.  
    Notify me when people reply to my wall comments.  
    Notify me of private messages.  
    Notify me when people comment on my discussions.  
    Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions.  
    Notify me when people mention me.  

    Which I have absolutely no idea what they meant. Everyone was blank.

    so tick the boxes of those you want to be notified of.    My discussions is threads you have started.   Bookmarked discussions is threads that you have bookmarked that you want to follow    You can eith tick to be notified by email, or by pop Up.    The pop Up option means that you get a little pop up bottom left of the screen, and it also adds an entry to "Your Notifications"  in the list from your gear icon at the top of the page.

     

    To bookmark a thread click the star next to the gear icon on the first post of a Thread

    "My discussions" does that mean threads I started here in this forum? Or all threads I've participated in. And how do I bookmark a thread?

    Seems to be working, I got a notification for this one last reply at least. :-)  Thanks!

    Don't know how to remove those empty comment steples above though, so please disregard them!
