Genesis 2 Legacies for Genesis 3 question

Is this product suppose to allow you to use morphs created for Genesis 2 on Genesis 3?  Is it a substitute for GenX or can be used in concert?

    From the description they are Genisis 3 morphs of Genesis 2 characters/shapes with some impressive use of zbrush to get them as close as possible to their G2 counterparts.

    It is just those shapes added to G3F's gene pool.

    From the product description:

    "NOTE: This product does not include UV information or the ability to use Genesis 2 textures, nor does it automatically make Genesis 2 morphs work on Genesis 3. Only the head and body morphs mentioned above are included."

    So it basically is just these specific shapes transferred from G2 to G3. The way I see it, it's no substitute for GenX, nor will it work, as it's not a clone.

    Looks an interesting product... Although, you'd still need the G2F versions if you want the HD upgrades to those characters.

    It fills in some critical holes in G3, I'd say. For one thing, it includes a black and Asian skin texture and shape, so that's a huge plus.

     

    Still not jumping to G3 myself, but if I had a thousand dollars to burn to do so it'd be part of my core list.

    No textures are included, it's just morphs to get GF3 looking more like the base and addon figures for GF2, I wouldn't call that critical, but better than nothing. I am still waiting for Genx also

    It also gets rid of the eye popping issues from Genesis 2 cloning to Genesis 3 (the one in Genesis 3 popped its eyes out).

    It says so clearly in the product description on the webpage. :-)

    I think it's a good idea to get the G2 shapes easily over to G3, but I really hope that they will do something about a better variety of skins for G3, too.

    Well, I'm not buying G3 things so I just glanced at the promo and saw the variety of figures and thought 'finally!'

    My bad!

     

    As an aside, I'm kind of curious whether the G3F UVs will map to G3M, whenever it drops.
